Fort Avaris Naval Station or NS Avaris is a Union of Everett naval base located in southwestern Yucatan state on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. The base is bordered to the north by the Yucatan Border Canal, which divides Mexico from the Union of Everett. To the south, southeast and east, NS Avaris is bordered by the under construction City of Avaris. The base serves as one of two major Pacific Naval stations, housing half of the Union of Everett's Pacific Fleet. Completed in late 2010, NS Avaris maintains an active Navy staff of 10,000 employees, officers and crewmen and operates a full division of the Union of Everett Marine Corps. NS Avaris is also the home base to the Pacific Union of Everett Coast Guard and houses a small Air Force field for the Union of Everett Air Force, consisting of a total of 125 aircraft.

NS Avaris notably contains a shipyard for constructing naval vessels including fusion powered aircraft carriers, battleships, destroyers and SSBN submarines. The station also houses docks for docking up to four Nimitz or Ford class aircraft carriers, five Amphibious Assault Carriers, five Massachusetts class battleships, ten Destroyers, ten AEGIS Missile Cruisers and 20 to 30 smaller vessels such as Coast Guard cutters, Naval frigates, corvettes and other vessels.

NS Avaris is defended by a force of 35 fighter aircraft, ground based SDI turrets, ground based surface-to-air systems, Mobile SDI vehicles, unmanned patrol boats such as the Israel Protector USV and varied early warning radars, automated Coast Guard systems and an on base active Marine Corps troop force of often 5,000 Marines who live on base 6 months out of the year. Surrounding the base to the east are military housing communities in which Marines and other personnel may live in housing developments for military personnel and their families. The communities currently maintain a population of 30,000 residents, of which, 7,500 to 10,000 of the residents are military personnel stationed at NS Avaris.

The base is the western entrance to the Yucatan Border Canal's security zone and the entirety of the canal will be secured and defended as well as regulated and operated by NS Avaris officials.
