The National Conservative Party of Brazoria (Spanish: Partido Conservador Nacional de Brazoria) is a national conservative political party in Brazoria. Founded in 2010, the party was created among more nationalist and right populist members of the People's Party and broke off to form their own political party to represent the interests of said faction. Presently lead by Richard Abbott, the National Conservative Party leans to the right on the political spectrum by academics, journalists, and political observers.
The National Conservative Party was originally a minor party that held little influence beyond provincial and local government before it started gaining seats in 2015 and later in 2019 when the party made gains into parliament. Ideologically, the National Conservatives leans to the right, supporting economically liberal policies, opposing most modern economic regulations, opposing a raise in the federal minimum wage, and opposes most forms of government intervention and only supports the latter during times of crisis. The party is socially conservative having opposed liberalizing drugs and abortion laws, opposing LGBT rights supports preserving "founding Judeo-Christian values".
On a Pan-American level, the National Conservatives are affiliated with the American Conservative Coalition in the American Parliament. In regards to the Conference of American States, the party is Ameroskeptic and is opposed to further integration and supports a referendum on Brazoria's membership in the CAS. In Parliament, the party holds nine seats in the Diet and TBD in the Corte. Despite its small presence in parliament, the party is part of a confidence and supply agreement with the Libertarian Party and People's Party since 2019.
