The National Union Party of Alaska is a center-right political party in the Commonwealth of Alaska. Founded in 1950, the National Union Party is the second oldest political party in Alaska and is one of the two major political parties in Alaska, alongside it's historic rival the Liberal Democratic Party. Originally founded in opposition to Alaskan independence, the National Union Party would quickly become a top political contender, pandering to the Alaskan Right.

Since it's founding, the National Union Party has espouse conservative and other right-leaning ideologies, including Economic Liberalism and Social Conservatism. Though founded as a liberal conservative party, the National Union has slowly drifted towards the right, with newer members espousing right wing views. It's core values revolve around protecting Alaska's large oil and mining industries from government regulation, promoting an open economy free of government intervention, lowering taxes, and ending liberal social policies promoted by the government, which includes restricting abortion and ending open immigration policies. On foreign policy, the National Union Party is supportive of Alaska's participation in military alliances such as NATO and the Indo-Pacific Treaty Organization, however members are mixed on the Conference of American States, with the party having an equal amount of American unionists and Ameroskeptics.

The National Union Party would act as the chief opposition party in the early years of Alaskan independence, opposing the Liberal Democratic-led government. It would enter government for the first time in the 1960s, and would continue to hand off the position with the Liberal Democrats all throughout the late twentieth century. Since 2018, the National Union Party has had a majority in both houses of Parliament and has retained the Presidency under Nicolas McCarty since TBD. The National Union Party holds 12 out of the 20 seats in the National Council and 32 out of the 60 seats in the House of Commons. In the American Parliament, the National Union Party holds 4 of the 10 Alaskan seats, falling behind the Liberal Democrats. In the American Parliament, the party is affiliated with the American Conservative Coalition.
