New Vinyl City

New Vinyl City, formerly known as Vinyl City, is a independent City-State powered by music and is known as the music capital of the world. It's governed and controlled by NSR. It is the 9th world of the UFN and a popular tourist location for the Federal Military. Following a hostile take over by an evil Corporation known as the Estallia Corporation, who's leader was defeated so was the company. After a while, the City was then conquered by Gray Gravel, A distress signal was sent to Z-Tech pleading for help. Z-Tech had arrived with help from Hinobi Techology and help NSR defeat Gray Gravel and save Vinyl City, while Z-Tech would Invade and take down holdouts forcing them to surrender. Soon, NSR and Hinobi join Z-Tech and the Alliance and the new United Federation of Nations.

History

It used to have an energy problem but has since become well-powered thanks to the emergence of the record label and Music empire NSR and their power source known as the Qwasa, a machine that converts music into power and distributes it through the whole city. Since then, music has been the main power source, and thus a wide-spread commodity. However, throughout the game, the city primarily favored EDM music over other genres, enforced by NSR with an iron fist and great prejudice.

Known far and wide as the music capital of the world, Vinyl City has integrated the nearby towns of Bailey and Dabney in recent years to become a literal powerhouse of technological advances. Led by musical giant NSR, combined with the newly acquired resources of the local Hinobi Glitch Tech operatives, and the adaptive equipment of Z-Tech, this urban fusion of music, technical assimilation, and gaming prowess has accelerated their already incredibly innovative progress to unthinkable levels. Home to a variety of colorful districts and neighborhoods, each boasting its own array of entertainment and manufacturing specialities, the limit in New Vinyl City has gone oh so far beyond the sky. In the wake of liberating and defending the city from occupying forces, Z-Tech continues to operate from a number of military bases within each district of the city. Working to facilitate the ongoing partnership between New Vinyl City and Z-Tech as a whole, the city is run by a Z-Tech Über-Governor as a representative and the head of government, in conjunction with Tatiana Qwartz of NSR as head of the city itself. The Über-Governor is Hans Von Ludendorff, one of Z-Tech’s highest ranking figures: an General-Commander and General Commissar, granting him complete control of New Vinyl City’s police and military and a strong say in politics.

Government and Politics

The Prime Charter leads the city and serves 5-7 years, elected by popular vote and has a chance to be reelected

the Über-Governor controls the city's governmental Administration, is commander of the city's military and police, and is appointed/elected by Z-Tech and the natives for 5 years until reappointed/reelected. they can be removed if they break the rules or abuse their powers

New Vinyl City's executive body is the City Council. The Council consists of the Über-Governor, and up to ten representatives holding ministerial positions, two of them holding the title of District Mayor as deputy to the Über-Governor, the people elect the 10 representatives to serve 6 years with a chance of reelection

Districts and Subdistricts

New Vinyl City is split into districts and sub-districts. Many, if not all, are occupied and controlled by the NSR, Hinobi and Z-Tech leaders. A NSR-controlled district features their music, aesthetics, advertisements, and their stage where they perform their concerts. The Hinobi-controlled district and their sub-districts feature their games, advertisements, stores and gaming events. NSR Tower is situated in the heart of the city. As expected, there is a vast sewer network underneath the streets, and this is where Bunk Bed Junction lives and serves as their base of operations. New Vinyl City also has a special way to access different districts, also powered by music. Specifically, the dock requires a Platinum Disc to be inserted into the record player-like podium and be played music in order to allow complete access to the district associated with that Disc. Once all requisites are met, the city will shift entirely and give access to the district by connecting them via docks.

Festival Plaza

Quite literally the beating heart of New Vinyl City, Festival Plaza serves as the central hub of the city and the location of the Grand Qwasa, the incredible energy-generation system that powers the entire city. Home to a variety of shops, restaurants, venues, and social settings, there’s something for everyone in Festival Plaza. The district is also home to the most prominent residential region in the bustling center of the expanded city, hosting a wide variety of apartments and a surprisingly homey underground neighborhood within the district’s sewer system.

Since the city’s integration of Hinobi Tech, the already sizable gaming scene of the district has tripled in prominence. The additional Hinobi stores have tripled the number of gaming venues in the plaza, and the corporate office has developed a secondary location within the district to better cover the massive city.

With the presence of Z-Tech, various military bases factories are located in all districts. The plaza has one base where Z-Tech troopers and their machines are stationed for defense reasons, but often the soldiers find the city a perfect place for vacations. Z-Tech has opened  shops and taken over the garden centers in the city to manage the plants, and offering garden supplies for the citizens
