    The Federal Republican Armed Forces (FRAF), also known as the Federal Armed forces or the Federation Armed Forces, is the United principal military armed forces of the United Federation of Nations responsible for the defense and offense. The armed forces consists of 9 service branches: Federal Republican Army, Republican Marine Corps, Republican Coast Guard, Federal Republican Navy, Federal Republican Air Force, National Space Force, Inter-Dimensional Armed Forces, Special Wolf Brigade Detachments, Federal Expeditionary Legionary Korps.

    The Founders of Z-Tech and the President are the Supreme Commander-in-Chiefs and Commander-in-Chiefs of the armed forces and forms military policy with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), both federal executive departments, acting as the principal organs by which military policy is carried out. It is under the leadership of the General Joint Chiefs of Staff (GJCS) with the President as commander-in-chief.

    The units were reconstituted into the Rebel Partisans on 10 October 2017. Today, the majority of military units around the country are assigned to one of all theater commands by geographical location. The FRAF is the world's largest military force ( including paramilitary or reserve forces) and constitutes the largest defense budget in the world. It is also one of the fastest modernizing militaries in the world, and has been termed as a potential military superpower, with significant regional defense and rising global power projection capabilities.

    Z-Tech law explicitly asserts the leadership of the Government over the armed forces of United Federation and designates the GJCS as the nationwide military command. The GJCS operates under the name of the State GJCS for legal and governmental functions and as the ceremonial Ministry of National Defense (MoD) for diplomatic functions. The FRAF is obliged to follow the principle of Z-Tech's absolute civilian control of the military under the doctrine from China "the party commands the gun" (Chinese: 党指挥枪; pinyin: Dǎng zhǐhuī qiāng)

    Since 2049, the FRAF has used nine different military strategies, which it calls "strategic guidelines". The most important came in 2050, 2053, and 2055. In times of national emergency, the Central Federated Guardsmen (CFG) and the member world's defences Militia act as a reserve and support element for the FRA. Politically, the FRAF and CFG are represented in the Supreme Congress through a delegation of 285 deputies, all of whom are members of Z-Tech. Since the formation of the congress, the joint FRAF–CFG delegation has always constituted the largest delegation and today comprises just over 9% of the Congress.

    Recruitment for the Military was accomplished through voluntary enlistment and conscription, with 10.3 million being drafted and 27.4 million volunteering in the period 2035–2039. The total number of soldiers serving in the armed forces during war from 2017 to 2055 is believed to have approached 38.2 million. The Federal military leadership originally aimed at a homogeneous military, possessing traditional military values. However, with Mr.Pardo's constant wishes to increase the Military's size, the Army was forced to accept citizens of lower class and education, decreasing internal cohesion and appointing officers who lacked real-war experience from previous conflicts, especially World War 2, The Cold War, Vietnam War, Afgan War, and the Russian-Ukraine War. Later on in 2045, the leadership permitted the military leadership to finally create a homogeneous military, possessing traditional military values, any demonstration of genuine talent or leadership ability and proper Organizational structure.

    When they toppled the gray gravel empire on their worlds, Z-Tech had been recognised as having the most efficient army in the world. It utilized mass conscription for mid-term military service followed by a longer period in reserves. Emphasis is placed on high quality training while maintaining a high number of experienced senior officers. The UFN requires all member worlds to maintain a strong, professional Army, Air, Navy, Space Force, and an Inter-Dimensional Force. Z-Tech has invested almost half of its resources into building a strong military and science equipment to guard its and their allies territories. Z-Tech (with the help of allied nations) allocates enormous funds into maintaining its armed forces. The military budget of 100 billion dollars makes up a unknown percent of the Federal government's spending, distributing this amount of money is necessary to keep the expanded gigantic military machine functioning.

    History

    Formation and early rebellion

    Since Z-Tech's initial rise to power in 2020, their leaders sights were set on the complete consolidation and control of the loosely led rebel militaries and partisans which they finally achieved in 2025 two major scandals collectively known as the "second blomberg fritch affair" and "Collaboration of traitors of their homeworlds" led to the removal of failed war ministers and commander-in-chiefs from their posts. This allowed for Z-Tech to take over as commander-in-chief of the armed forces and restructure the ministry of the rebels into the General Joint Chiefs of Staff or GJCS. the leaders appointed Hans von Lundendorff, a man quickly won over to the Leaders as Chief Chairman of GJCS and made Ivan Kolchak as head of the operation staff. these men functioned as more than mouthpieces for the leaders a means to ensure their hold on the military was absolute. Beneath Hans and Ivan the GJCS was split into 7 main branches: the FC army command, the FC naval command, the FC marine corps command, the FC Coast Guards, the FC air force command, FC space force command and the Dimensional force Command. Z-Tech have unified their commands, creating a single united general staff of their military. These branches all reported to the FCFRAF on operational matters but aside from semi-regular interventions by the Founders themselves, their leaders commited a joint consultation and also operated more or less independently or united. The structure of the military hierarchy became even more jointed in 2030 with the introduction of the Elite Special Wolf Brigade Detachments as an independent branch of the armed services that acts on times of a crisis. Under their leaders, the SWBD operated with a separate budget administration training centers uniform and rank system assigned to support the Armed Forces in the field. WB units tended to operate without the approval or even knowledge of the FC. Disconnected or united though they were, all branches of the military under Z-Tech were united by one thing complete subservience to the will of the Founders and President. While certainly not omnipotent in their dealings with the military, It is impossible to deny the overbearing influence these people had on the destiny of their self-proclaimed State and order

    Military Rise

    Z-Tech has had a long tradition in militarism and warfare ever since the old war and the beginning of garden war, as a result, The company and foreign allies personally oversaw great strides in the modernization of the Rebel and Z-Tech Armies into the Federal Republican Armed Forces, a modern unified offensive/defensive-capable armed force. The Federal Republican Armed Forces formed the heart of Z-Tech's politico-military power. In response to the obvious gaps in training of army soldiers, Z-Tech’s new president Carlos Pardo announced a plan to scrap or upgrade most of the old plant/zombie ordnance and improve their training in an accelerated program to modernize the military via seeking talented generals and military training. "The newly combined federal military is now one of the largest standing armies in the world and the multiverse," said Geum Min, a Korean spokesman for the Z-Tech Defense Department "We want not only the largest, but also the finest and most modern fighting force in all of history". Ever since their victory over Gray Gravel, the Z-Tech Army has enjoyed many victories, seizing the world of splatoon and repelling an attempt second invasion of the homeland being chief among them, and is undergoing a heavy reconstruction, with new, incredibly advanced weaponry being deployed and field-tested throughout the Z-Tech Alliance. Furthermore, Z-Tech officers are arbitrarily put in charge of entire districts as the border between LEAF and GRAVE, the company military Superheroes, and the Z-Tech Army, the national military, become more and more intertwined. As dozens of gray gravel machines and factories burn under the relentless advance of the plant and zombie troops and the cities fall, General Supremo is mentioned pulling the unbelievable stunt of launching the ground invasion of Japan, striking at the Crown island nation of their sea empire. Meanwhile, the space force won the Battle of the Crossways, crippling the Western front, and reached the minecraft world to give the gray gravel and helghan space Navies a sound beating. By 2048, the nexo knight world had capitulated, with the knights M.I.A. and the last resistance pockets retreating in the mountains, undertale has been freed from occupation, their capital has presumably already fallen and another world has been freed entirely. At the same time, the army discovered a secret placement of Da'at Yichud where the Z-Tech soldiers managed to obtain the secrets inside the placement. All the information was given to Dr.Zomboss and Crazy Dave, where they could develop their advanced weapons for the Company and their allies at Zomboss’s fortified compound. Despite the unsuccessful attempt to assault the Gray Gravel world, the leaders continued to develop their research until they won by liberating their 9th and 10th worlds. After the war, all armies of the other worlds were absorbed by the military forces of Z-Tech and their army is now considered as one of the most powerful armies in the history of mankind. All technologies developed inside the Z-Tech compound make the Military more powerful each day until all soldiers are invincible.

    Technological Advancement

    By 2050, the Z-Tech military has further branched into specialized divisions for extreme or hazardous environments, for example the new navy frogmen and the Federal guard force. Zercranium powered tanks, autonomous drones, Ubersoldat and Panzerhund technology are commonplace, and the dismantlement of captured nuclear weapons have made a deterrence that provides all the menace and firepower old Armies can't. Massive military infrastructure was built, including the complete restructuring of Suburbia and Neighborville into Suburmania, the construction of New Vinyl City, Zomboss's and Dave’s compounds in the U.S and the new network of railways and Military camps. The new Über-concrete captured and found in Wolfenstein Germany gave Z-Tech the power to expand its military infrastructure in ways previously impossible, as with the Dimensional Bridges, while advanced light alloys allowed them to build a vast Lunar base for advanced experimentation and, most notably, as command center of the Anti-nuclear deterrent. As of the threat of a Moon-based nuclear arsenal wasn't enough, the Germans managed to complete the gigantic Sonnengeweher, a complex of orbital mirrors, controlled by a 2,5 kilometers long space station and capable of focusing sunlight and radiation into a massive beam capable of melting cities and evaporating oceans, at least according to the designers, the plans were foiled by the resistance and Z-Tech destroyed the Sun Gun; scaping it permanently as Z-Tech continues to terminate all pointless nazi weapons. Drawing from an unlimited pool of manpower, the resources of 75% of their allies' worlds and of Moons filled with Zercranium and equipped with derivatives of Da'at Yichud and allied technology, the new Federal Republican Armed Forces are arguably the largest, best equipped and most powerful military in the history of Mankind. Z-Tech and the FRAF has fought in a unique form of combat known as Combined Strategic Hybrid Warfare (CSHW), by combining all forms of warfare, military strategies, tactics and all forms of battle, combining military tactics of the ancient, classical, medieval, modern, and futuristic periods and modifying them into modern advanced combat of war. Although Military spending was not a high priority, the Z-Tech and the Federation still put a devoted budget to military spending to modernize its military equipment. Throughout Z-Tech’s years, the equipment that is obtained from a variety of countries was eventually simplified and reverse-engineered with the intended purpose of using it to their advantage over their enemies.

    With Z-Tech and their Federation's allies abilities to reverse engineer and repurpose technology, it offset the terms of difficulty in terms of training and maintenance, as Z-Tech added its appliances to make the training and maintenance easier as they were produced inside their territory. In other words, something is different on the outside than it is on the inside. In addition, the cheapness in which these items can be obtained is a huge factor in the alliance's ability to outpace its adversaries. The variety in its equipment also gave the Federation an advantage over other nation-states, as it gave them vital research into outclassing and outmaneuvering their enemies.

    Structure

    Presidential command over the U.F. Armed Forces is established in Article 172 of the 2050 Constitution states that amongst the President's duties are "To designate and substitute the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and the Commanders of the Army, the Air Force and the Navy.", and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United Federation.

    The current positions, appointed by president Carlos on 13 Nov 2054 are as follows:

    Article 100 of the LOFA also states that these positions, and several others such as Chief of Police and Head of the Presidential, may be held "only once during the military career and for a time no greater than two years". This results in a fairly high turnover in the Z-Tech Federal Command with continued service being prohibited by law.

    Commander in Chiefs of the Armed Forces

    The Founders are the Supreme commander-in-chiefs of the Armed Forces as well as all federalized United Federation Militia and may exercise supreme operational command and control over them. The Founders has, in this capactiy, plenary power to launch, direct and supervise military operations, order or authorize the deployment of troops, unilaterally launch nuclear weapons, and form military policy with the Department of Defense and Homeland Security. However, the constitutional ability to declare war is vested only in them with the approval of Congress.

    Article II of the U.F.N Constitution expressly designates the Founders as:

    Supreme Commander in Chief of the Army, Navy, and Air Force of the United Federation, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United Federation

    The Founders and President of the Republic has copied the U.S. who's ranks have their roots in British military traditions, with the president possessing ultimate authority, but no rank, maintaining a civilian status. Before 1947, the president was the only common superior of the Army (under the secretary of war) and the Navy and Marine Corps (under the secretary of the navy). The National Security Act of 1947, and the 1949 amendments to the same act, created the Department of Defense and the services (Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force) became subject to the "authority, direction and control" of the secretary of defense.

    The General Joint Chiefs of Staff, although outside the operational chain of command, is the senior-most military body in the Federal Republican Armed Forces. It is led by the Chief Chairman of General Joint Chiefs of Staff, who is the military head of the armed forces and principal advisor to the Founders and President on military matters.

    • The Main Political Directorate of the central [military]-political organ is the High Command in charge of the entire Z-Tech war effort through the Garden War and their subsequent Inter-Dimensional military operations. serving as the military general staff for the alliance, coordinating the efforts and in complete authority of the affairs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force (FRA, FRN, and FRAF).     • The Republic Strategic High Command, also known as Republic Command, is a military organization of the United Federation during the Garden Wars which is the central command division for the disparate armed forces and agencies. The organization existed to manage the Army and is made up of experienced admirals and generals from the UFN's member worlds.
    • The Unified combatant commands are joint military commands consisting of forces from multiple military departments, with their chain of command flowing from the Founders, to the President, to the commanders of the combatant commands. Each service organizes, trains, and equips forces that are then presented to the unified combatant commands through service component commands. Special Operations Command and Cyber Command also present theater special operations commands or joint force headquarters – cyber to other combatant commanders. Army components are typically dual-hatted as the joint force land component, Navy components are typically dual-hatted as the joint force maritime component, and Air Force components are typically dual-hatted as the joint force air component, with the theater special operations command dual-hatted as the joint force special operations component, and Space Force component typically dual-hatted as the joint force space component.

    In addition to all of this, Each rebel soldier has taken an oath to Z-Tech, the Alliance Federation, and the UN. The Soldier's creed is as follows...

    Policies

    These policies were basically laws that the military must follow. They were passed in 2053, after there was a reported abuse of civilians by the military. The Founders then set up these laws as an acting guideline of expected behaviour.

    • There may be no rape of innocent people wether they be Human, Machine, or of another Species and race
    • No one soldier may create their own war
    • No soldier may desert his assigned post without an injury greater than a small cut
    • No soldier may leave the base at times of war
    • No soldier may show disrespect for his nation by desecrating a federal symbol
    • No soldier may kill or harm a civilian without a proper conviction
    • Every soldier must follow orders given to him by an officer of a higher rank
    • Every soldier must be at least 18 years of age and under 50 years of age
    • Every soldier must follow the civilian laws of the UFN

    Branches

    The Federal Republican Armed Forces is composed of 9 coequal military service branches and 1 paramilitary branch. Five of the service branches, the Federal Republican Army, Republican Marine Corps, Republican Coast Guards, Federal Republican Navy, Republican Air Force, National Space Force, and the Inter-Dimensional Armed Forces are organized under the Department of Defense's military departments. The Republican Coast Guard is nominally under the Department of Homeland Security, but may be transferred to the Department of Defense's Department of the Navy (which is the civilian entity that oversees the coequal Republican Marine Corps and F.R. Navy) at the direction of the president or congress. With the exception of the Coast Guard, the military services only organize, train, and equip forces. The General Joint Chiefs of Staff are responsible for operational control of non-service retained forces.

    • Rebel Partisan Detachments (RPD) - (founded in 2017) Primarily a guerilla force at its inception, the Partisans developed into a large fighting force engaging in conventional warfare later in the war, numbering around 1,000,000 and organized in four field armies and 52 divisions. The main stated objectives of the Partisans were the liberation of the homeland and neighboring worlds from occupying forces and the creation of a federal, multi-ethnic, alliance state in the multiverse to counter gray gravel.
    • Z-Tech Armed Forces (ZAF) - (founded in 2040) The newly unified, integrated Z-tech militaries have some of the latest, and oldest military technology working side by side. Following the death of the Gray Gravel leaders, the style of war has changed. As a result, the outdated military (standing at 10 million strong, including 2.9 million in the reserve) was integrated into the existing Z-Tech military structures, in which many old officers were discharged and demoted, posted under brand new officers in order for the new government to seek talented generals. Because of this military integration Z-Tech has made great strides in modernizing the ZAF, replacing and scrapping most of the outdated ordnance, and upgrading the Army's training in an accelerated program. The military was also commonly armed with American-made weapons and vehicles, resulting from its integration with their allies military equipment, and also utilizing advanced weapons purchased from the Russian and Chinese militaries, including attack helicopters and MBTs. By 2045, the ZAF was outfitted with trained special operation teams and has supposedly made a worldwide rebel force.
    • Federal Republican Armed Forces (FRAF) - (founded in 2050) Shortly before the high point of the war, in March 2049, all resistance and armed forces were reorganized into the regular armed force of the Federation until 2050, when it was renamed the Federal Republican Armed Forces. The FRAF consists of 8 separate branches, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Inter-Dimensional Forces, Special Wolf Brigade Detachments, National Federal Guard, and Federal Expeditionary Legionary Korps. The available amount for military service is up to 40 million soldiers with many in reserve.

    The FRAF is divided into many separate service branches: army, marine corps, navy, air force, space force, inter-dimensional force, and the expeditionary force.

    Federal Republican Army

    • - The Republican Army has the greatest number of personnel. In 2055 there are about 40,000,000 active-duty soldiers (including 20,000,000 conscripts), and over 30 million trained reservists could be mobilized in wartime. Each of the Member world has its own Territorial Defense forces which are similar to the US national guard and were subordinate to supreme command as an integral part of the defense system in wartime. The territorial defense militia (reserve force) is made up of former conscripts; they are occasionally called up for war exercises. The ground forces were organized into infantry, armor, artillery, and air defense, as well as signal, engineering and chemical defense corps.

    Federal Republican Navy

    • - The Republican Navy is the navy of Z-Tech. It is essentially a coastal defense force with the mission of preventing enemy landings along Z-Tech’s and their allies’ shorelines or coastal islands, and contesting an enemy blockade or control of any strategic Strait. In 2056 it had 20,000,000 sailors (including 4,400,00 conscripts), including 200,300 in 400,000 coastal artillery batteries and 9,000 marines in one light naval infantry brigade.

    Republican Marine Corps

    • - The Marine Corps is the maritime land force service branch of the Federal Republican Armed Forces responsible for conducting expeditionary and amphibious operations through combined arms, implementing its own infantry, artillery, aerial, and special operations forces. The Republic Marine Corps is one of the eight uniformed services of the United Federation.

    Republican Coast Guard

    • - The Coast Guard is the maritime security, search and rescue, and law enforcement service branch of the Federal Republican Armed Forces and one of the country's eight uniformed services. The service is a maritime, military, multi-mission service unique among the Z-Tech military branches for having a maritime law enforcement mission with jurisdiction in both domestic and international waters and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its duties. It is the largest and most powerful coast guard in the world, rivaling the capabilities and size of most navies.

    Federal Republican Air Force

    • - The Federal Republican Air Force had about 32,00,000 personnel including 40,000 conscripts, and operated over 25,000,000 aircraft and 30,000,000 helicopters. It is responsible for transport, reconnaissance, and rotary-wing aircraft as well as the national air defense system. The primary air force missions were to contest enemy efforts to establish air supremacy over the Federation and to support the defensive operations of the ground forces and navy. Most aircraft are produced in Z-Tech Factories. Missiles are produced domestically and supplied by the United States and the UN. The Air Force has a million squadrons of domestically produced ground attack fighters. The ground attack squadrons provided close air support to ground force operations.

    National Space Force

    • - The Space Force is the third largest Federation armed service, consisting of 480,400 military personnel and operating 770,000 spacecraft. Major spacecraft and systems include the Space Fence, Global Positioning System constellation, military satellite communications constellations, Boeing X-37B spaceplane, missile warning system, space surveillance network, and the Satellite Control Network.

    Inter-Dimensional Armed Forces

    • - IDAF is the combined branch of all armies but specialized in Inter-Dimensional combat and defense in the multiverse, Z-Tech’s finest troops of the military are enlisted into the IDAF to fight the gray alliance.

    Special Wolf Brigade Detachments (SWBD)

    • - The Special Elite secret counterespionage Paramilitary formed in 2056, which are group of small, highly-trained, elite ground forces units tasked with specialised operations such as special reconnaissance, counter terrorism, and direct action.

    Territorial Defense Militia (TDM)

    • - Main task of Territorial Defense Forces: the protection of independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and social organization of the United Federation of Nations by defending each member world.

    Central Federated Guardsmen

    • (CFG)- The CFG is the state paramilitary organization and the of the federation which typically serves to protect the head of states, head of governments, public buildings, and thus is often synonymous with a presidential guard. The paramilitary volunteer formations consisted mainly of factory workers, peasants, reformed POWs and partially of soldiers and sailors for "protection of the people". Federal Guardsmen are a transitional military force of the collapsing Gray Gravel Occupation Army and the base formations of Z-Tech during the Liberation of Suburbia and Neighborville and the first months of the Suburban Civil War.
    1. Directorate "P" of the CFG Special Purpose Center - are light infantry forces that are largely configured for reconnaissance, counterinsurgency, and power-projection missions, made up of the agents and heroes of L.E.A.F.
    2. Directorate "Z" of the CFG Special Purpose Center - are light infantry forces that are largely configured for reconnaissance, counterinsurgency, and power-projection missions, made up of the agents and heroes of G.R.A.V.E.
    3. National Directorate of the Special Projects Division - The NDSPD is the special research division of Dave and Zomboss for when they do special projects and inventions with the other renowned scientists they partner with.

    The guards are for protection, the Federal Military Administration, Military War Cabinet, the General Joint Chiefs of Staff of the FRAF are the main branches to control the armed forces and the military administrators, and the Special Wolf Brigade Detachments are the specials forces aka the elites of the army and these two, the Directorate "P" of the CFG Special Purpose Center and the Directorate "Z" of the CFG Special Purpose Center are the high and low command of G.R.A.V.E's and L.E.A.F's heroes and agents.

    Federal Expeditionary Legionary Korps (FELK)

    • - Z-Tech’s finest troops which are self-sustaining with an organic logistics capability and with a full vast array of supporting firearms and equipment.

    • - a civil and military engineering organization in Z-Tech from 2024 to 2056. The organization is responsible for a huge range of engineering projects both in Suburmania and in Allied Territory, NLF administered all constructions of military bases, war factories, and housing to supply the rapid industry of the alliance.

    Weapons Deployment Organization (WDO)

    • - the center for research and development of Z-Tech and the alliance for weapons, ammunition and Military equipment to the Federal Republican Armed Forces and then the UN. It was founded 8 November 2022 with the task of overseeing the federation’s gigantic armament program was given to the Military Acceptance Organization, a subsidiary of the WDO. By 2050 the MAO consisted of 2,500,000 men and women in 15 departments in 300 inspection areas, augmented by specially selected plant personnel who were assigned to assist the Army Inspectors in each manufacturing facility. The WDO, MAO, and the NDSPD are responsible for the testing and acceptance of all weapons, equipment and ammunition before delivery to the FRAF and later the purchase and capture of various technology and weapons from war gains as the wolfenstein and the man in the high castle nazi’s Wunderwaffe. Inspections are carried out according to detailed guidelines called "Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC) prepared by the various departments of the Military.

    Storm Assault Engineering Brigades (SAEB)

    Though their arsenal and personnel were altered many times due to their expansion of the multiverse, Z-Tech military doctrine was consistently characterized by an reliance on mobility and technological superiority. The Federal military tends to favor quality over quantity. Z-Tech soldiers tend to be more well-trained and well-equipped then their Imperial counterparts, and the Z-Tech military often employos exotic technology, such as Zercranium technology and energy weapons.

    The Military Doctrine revolved around the concept of superior firepower, ground  supremacy, numerical superiority of swarming thousand of soldiers of the Military and reliance on highly advanced but conventionally based technologies, relying primarily on heavy armor divisions, but Z-Tech had been known for employing infantry in the role of armor support. The UFN's manpower is naturally not as much as the one of Gray Gravel, the Helghast and the Nazis. However to compensate for this, they developed advanced technologies and mechas, drones and massive robots to fight for them along with their troopers.

    The FRAF has its own rank structure, unit insignia, and uniforms; the most recognizable being the Camo, Gray, Brown, and Black uniform. Within the main division, it exist several sub-divisions some with Important duties while other Z-Tech commands had little to high contact with each other.

    Organizational structure and composition

    By the order of January 3, 2039, the Combant Commander Hans Von Ludendorff decided that the new army should have a structure and composition similar to the Armies of nations like the US, German, Russian, British, French, Chinese, and all others armies known.

    The structure of the created united army assumed the creation of:

    • companies of 150,000 combined arms divisions;
    • battalions of 6 companies each;
    • regiments of 40,100 heav in 6 battalions or 28 companies;
    • divisions with 16,500 Corps in 6 regiments;
    • corps of 37,000 Infantry in 4 divisions.

    Sturcture

    Unlike the armies of the Gray Gravel and other Nations, advancement in the FRAF is based on proven ability rather than social class or wealth. Z-Tech wants their army to be a meritocracy, where every soldier, no matter how humble of birth, could rise rapidly to the highest levels of command, much as many had done (provided, of course, they did not rise too high or too fast). This was equally applied to the US and foreign officers, and no less than 140,000,000,000 foreigners attained the rank of General. By and large this goal was achieved. Given the right opportunities to prove themselves, capable Troops could rise to the top within a few years, whereas in other armies it usually required decades if at all. It was said that even the lowliest private carried a marshal's baton in his knapsack.

    Military Regional Districts (MRD)

    Military Regional Districts (also called MRD) are formations of the state's armed forces (often of the Army) which are responsible for a certain area of territory. They are often more responsible for administrative than operational matters, and with conscript forces, often handle parts of the conscription cycle. The task of military districts is the organization and the handling of reinforcements, resupplies for local military units, training, conscription, supply, and equipment.

    Military Resupply Agency is а local military administrative agency that prepares and executes plans for military mobilization, maintains records on military manpower and economic resources available to the armed forces, provides pre-military training, drafts men for military service, organizes reserves for training, and performs other military functions at the local level.

    Military Commissariats

    Federal Millitary is divided into multiple regional commissariats that govern large swaths of the Earth or of Z-Tech space. These governing bodies act as smaller replicas of the federal government and have provided Z-Tech the flexibility and capability to govern billions of citizens across thousands of light-years.

    In the UFN armies, commissaries are logistic officers. A commissariat is a department charged with the provision of supplies, both food and forage, for the troops. The supply of military stores such as ammunition is not included in the duties of a commissariat. In almost every army the duties of transport and supply are performed by the same corps of departmental troops.

    Every commissariat official holds dual civilian and military ranks allowed by their abilities. A commissariat is governed by a Commissar-General, often a Commander, who is appointed by the Founders and approved by the Commissariat's Regional Congress. Most powers in these regional governments are vested in the Commissar-General's Office, with the Regional Congress channeling the will of popular sentiment, business interests, scientific and non-governmental organizations.

    Commissariats may be created, expanded, reduced, or dissolved by order of the Founders and on approval of the Supreme Congress. By the late 21st century the Company had a half-dozen or so interdimensional commissariats, along with newly acquired territories that would likely later be reformed into new ones.

    Equiptment

    The first small arms for the Partisans were acquired from the defeated Armies of the former UN, like the M4 carbine rifle. Throughout the war the Partisans used any weapons they could find, mostly weapons captured from the Germans, America, Russia, leftover weapons during the PvZ Wars, Gray Gravel (later discarded) and the Nazis, such as the STG80 rifle, Kalashnikov rifles, GIE machine and submachine guns. The other way that the Partisans acquired weapons was from supplies given to them by the remnants of the United States, Russia and Germany, including the XM7 and the MP5A5 submachine guns respectively. Additionally, Partisan workshops created their own weapons modelled on factory-made weapons already in use, including the so-called "Partisan assault rifle" and the anti-tank "Partisan mortar".

    After the liberation of the homeland, Z-Tech.Security (a New private security company) established in 2019 as a subsidary of Z-Tech to provide security and training to military organizations around the world and multiverse. The company is best known as the high-tech and highly-trained military arm of Z-Tech, and the force utilized most to secure assets for the conglomerate. Using weapons manufactured by Z-Tech Armaments, another subsidary of the Corporation, and technology and equipment designed and developed by Captured Doom and Wolfenstein Weapons, Z-T Security has been at the forefront of military training and technology, allowing its small forces to punch far beyond anyone group's expectations.

    Z-Tech.Armaments is the arms manufacturing corporation, and one of the largest businesses in the Multiverse. It is a subsidary of Z-Tech.Industries, a Massive multinational, multidimensional, energy, mining, production, manufacturing, weapons manufacturing, herbal, and industrial mega-conglomerate/Administration in the world. The company itself produces weapons of kinds and sizes, and is widely praised for the power and reliablity of their products in battle. It was founded by Z-Tech but ruled by Nate Foxington, the current president of the corporation. The headquaters of Z-Tech.Armaments is located in the high-tech walled complex of the Z-Tech Factory, within Suburmania. Z-T Armaments also supplies the private military companies of Z-Tech, allowing it access to the most modern and up to date weapons and military technologies avaliable.

    The Orbital Defense Initiative (ODIN) - a Bio-Kinetic electro-magical magnet platform ray created by the Z-Tech Government in the 2050s on the moon. The system is designed to carry Bio-kinetic signals and electrified Zercranium crystals from the lunar base of Moon Base Z; once activated green and purple electricity will travel through the pipes leading to the giant magnet, which will power the magnet. The magnet will then connect to the Earth and other worlds and fire Plant/Zombie energy on the planets, giving Z-Tech control over machines, and garden centers and as well as graveyards.

    The Control.All.Tech.Striker (C.A.T.S) satellite - CATS is a GPS/EMP satellite and hand device under development by the United Federation of nations. Beginning in 2054, the UFN plans to use it to detonate a high-altitude Zercranium electro device over the enemy lines, creating an EMP blast that will disable their power grids and which will allow Z-Tech to launch their invasion of the enemy’s homeland quickly with little loss of life

    Z-Tank M1Z5 - The Z-Tank is based on features of the best tanks of the world by their main supporters which are, the US, Russia, Germany, China, Britain, France, Italy, and Japan. The Z-Tank M1Z5 is a fifth-generation main battle tank designed by Atlas Defense (now General Dynamics Land Systems). Conceived for modern armored ground warfare and now one of the heaviest tanks in service at nearly 68 short tons (almost 62 metric tons), it introduced several innovative features, including a multi fuel turbine engine, sophisticated Chobham composite armor, a computer fire control system, separate ammunition storage in a blow-out compartment, and NBC protection for crew safety. Initial models of the M1 were armed with a licensed-produced 105 mm Royal Ordnance L7 gun, while later variants feature a licensed Rheinmetall 120 mm L/44.

    The M1Z5 was developed to replace the obsolescent foreign tanks used in the past. There are three main operational Z-Tanks versions, the M1, M1Z1, and M1Z5, with each new iteration seeing improvements in armament, protection, and electronics. Extensive improvements have been implemented to the latest formerly designated M1Z5 System Enhancement Package version 3 or SEPv3 and M1Z5 SEPv4, respectively versions such as improved composite armor, better optics, digital systems and ammunition, the UFSR military has opted to continue maintaining and operating the M1Z series for the foreseeable future by upgrading with improved optics, armor and firepower.

    Helicopter Z56- based off of the Project: Whisper, Z-Tech started the development of experimental helicopters designed to be quiet in flight and undetectable by means of radar After the liberation of the Wolfenstein world, the existing helicopter design was reverse-engineered, refined, and mass-produced to an unknown extent by the Z-Tech Military and allied governments. The helicopter is designed for multiple roles, as it is shown to be able to carry personnel and equipment, or stockpiles of weapons and ammunition for an all-out attack.

    Armament

    It is mounted with three Machine guns, capable of delivering very heavy fire. Two are mounted on the sides, and one on the bottom and 6 rocket launchers. The  helicopters are decorated with colorful images and Z-Tech insignia by the airforce and allies . It features coaxial rotor design and is armed with HMGs and rocket pods. They are also equipped with jet engines to increase their speed and maneuverability.

    Horten Ho 229 - The Horten H.IX, RLM designation Ho 229 (or Gotha Go 229 for extensive redesign work done by Gotha to prepare the aircraft for mass production), often referred to simply as the "jet fighter" (German: Düsenjäger), was a German fighter/bomber initially designed by Reimar and Walter Horten to be built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik late in World War II. It Historically, the design was a response to Hermann Göring's call for light bomber designs capable of meeting the "3×1000" requirement; namely to carry 1,000 kilograms (2,200 lb) of bombs a distance of 1,000 kilometers (620 mi) with a speed of 1,000 kilometers per hour (620 mph). Only jet engines could provide the speed, but these were extremely fuel-hungry, so considerable effort had to be made to meet the range requirement. Based on a flying wing, the Ho 229 lacked all extraneous control surfaces to reduce weight and lower drag. It was the only design to come even close to the 3×1000 requirements and received Göring's approval. Its ceiling was 15,000 meters (49,000 ft). Compared to Reimar and Walter's original design, the jets that appear in the Wolfenstein games sport several notable differences. The in-game version of the Ho 229 is armed with 4 nose-mounted cannons instead of 2 wing-mounted ones, and instead of Junkers Jumo 004 turbojet engines or BMW 003s, 2 larger turbofan engines with distinctive contrails are used instead. The single prototype used by the Fourth Reich in 1980 also uses anti-gravity propulsion along with the standard jet engines. Due to it’s fast flight and in need of new modern aircraft, it became adopted as Pugnator jet Z ( latin for fighter jet )

    Ausmerzer-Z2009 - The Ausmerzer (German for 'eradicator') was a large fortified airborne platform used by the Wolfenstein Nazis, until it was scrapped due it being useless by Z-Tech’s anti nazism ideology, calling it a waste of resources . The Ausmerzer was built and put into service around 1951, it would crush large-scale resistance to Nazi dominion across the wolfenstein world. Over time the Ausmerzer's primary target switched from uprisings to terrorist cells. Upon the total defeat of the Wolfenstein Nazis with the help of Z-Tech, the Ausmerzer was handed over to Z-Tech and scrapped for parts. It was used to rebuild the crashed zombie aircraft in cactus canyon and therefore made that it’s successor as Ausmerzer-Z2009 as tribute to the birth year of the pvz world. It become the largest Fortified Aircraft in Z-Tech History,

    Capabilities

    Having once befitted its role as a counter-insurgency platform, a role requiring quick and precise strategic movement but now in need of fast transport, the Ausmerzer-Z2009's anti-gravity engine allows it to move rapidly across the vast breadth of the Federation. It transports a large complement of mobile forces including infantry, Supersoldaten, ÜberSoldaten , at least 20 Panzerhunds, a Zitadelle unit, two Zerstörers, Zombots and smaller vehicles like tanks, air jets, including a complement of Silverfish submersibles which are escape vehicles. In addition to its garrison the Ausmerzer itself is heavily armed - observed weapons include Laser cannons on pintle mounts throughout interior and exterior areas, deck-mounted flak and artillery cannons, depth charges for attacking submerged targets, ventral launchers loaded with guided air-to-air missiles and rocket-propelled transport pods used to rapidly deploy Super Soldiers into battle, even unto its own outside decks in flight. It's hardened against electromagnetic pulses, and it can deploy extendable cables fitted with claws or large magnets to grab objects below it; its engine power is such that in addition to lifting its own mass it can uproot an entire house from the ground or forcibly surface submerged U-boats when the cables are deployed. It is also known to be equipped with radar. According to a maintenance report, if the anti-gravity field engine is over-exerted it could detonate with force comparable to a nuclear explosion.

    Operation of the Ausmerzer is now heavily automated by a new way of the ODIN combined with the SkyNet computer system called ODIN’S SKY. The interface for this system is divided into a main control center and the subsidiary Alpha and Beta control centers which control the port and starboard side defenses respectively. While being an ongoing development project for transport and as a gift to the founders. Despite the Ausmerzer's high strategic value the computer security for ODIN’S SKY is less than stellar: all three control centers have the same password, namely the word "BRAINZ:>", which when entered allows complete control over all systems connected to that computer.

    Power Armor Suit Z1 - After successfully reverse-engineering the technology of the original suit, Z-Tech managed to create their own version of the power suit for elites and commanders depending where they’re sent to. The suit is able to make the user overcome many health problems and give them superhuman strength and durability. After further advancements, the suits can now be crafted to suit different genders based on a unisex design. In addition, it became enhanced with the God Key, which allows the wear to catch bullets mid-air with the suits's enhanced powers and launch them back at the enemy with a powerful blast.

    Z-Tech's later designs have new Modification versions with Laser Beam helmet, a dashing device, cloaking device, Jet Pack, Incendiary grenade Launcher, Laser Beam Shoulder Pads and teleportation device.

    Functionality

    The Power Suit, now in full swing,  is shown to be a powerful armored exoskeleton that is linked with the wearer's central nervous system, which gives the wearer neural control over the suit's functions. It is also designed to increase the natural strength of the wearer, allowing them to perform superhuman feats such as heightened strength and agility. Due to its neural interface, it can enable someone previously paralyzed to walk again or allow the injured to function properly. It is also designed with a helmet that retracts at the will of the wearer and will fit males and females alike.The suit is powerful enough to enable the user to effortlessly leap high into the air, smash through robots with a single blow, and tear a human being in half. The suit also provides a degree of protection against gunfire. Furthermore, the suit can also be deactivated by pushing the control panel of the suit located in the center chest. According to Scientists who studied Set Roth’s work, the most prominent feature of the suit is that it can provide protection against radiation at any level. By the time of declaring the federation, Z-Tech has integrated the suits with cloaking technology allowing users to be invisible to the enemies. The suit also has the capability to ram through soldiers, and objects, possibly being from the ram shackles. Furthermore, the suit also equips with magnetic fields called the God Key, that enable users to stop projectiles in mid-air. In addition, users now have the ability to boost jump, allowing them to scale or jump faster to platforms, giving great mobility. The user also can gain side dash, allowing to evade attacks from enemies.

    The Vertical Take-Off and Landing Aircraft Z, or VTOLZ, made by Germany as a troop deployment and strike craft. The VTOL is based on the real-life West German Dornier Do 31. This kind of aircraft is used for transport of important leaders, generals, and prisoners of war, as well as it serves as a cargo transport.

    Supersoldaten (Übersoldaten) - Super Soldiers are heavily-armored biomechanical Machine soldiers because of their size close to a Gargantuar, Z-Tech began to make their own versions and also use the armor for boss plants and zombies as well as elite heavy troops. The Supersoldat is a newer breed of 2m to 2.4m tall super soldiers that was engineered by former General Deathshead himself. The discovery of the results of Deathshead's inhuman experiments are tied to his desire to combine man and machine. The Supersoldat 46 is an early attempt by Deathshead to create a supersoldier using poor soldiers and cybernetics technology. They are created from human subjects. After going through a chemical therapy, their bodies are surgically enhanced with steel and cybernetics and encased in bullet-proof armor. To purify the human subject's killer instinct, the brain is degenerated into a more primitive state, making them erratic and extremely violent. Regardless, these troops are shown to take orders without question from Deathshead and other Wolfenstein Nazi officials and fight together with other soldiers.

    The Supersoldaten 60 is a refined version of the original model. A new and improved armored enforcer who wields an MG60 and wears a face mask resembling a Greek statue. Like most things that exist in both time periods, the 1960 version of the Supersoldaten is essentially a technologically advanced version of the earlier 1946 type, with the majority of the updates being related to their equipment. Notably, the 1960 Supersoldat is also created on the Moon - they can be seen suspended unarmored and unconscious in tubes of yellow liquid throughout the lunar base. The creation of the 1946 variant is never seen so it is unknown whether this process differs from the one used to create its predecessors, although judging from the heavy facial scarring of the 1946 model, the process is more reliant on surgery rather than growth cultivation, as appears to be the case with the 1960 variant. Despite this, the face is as heavily scarred as its predecessor, suggesting a combination of surgical alteration and cultivation.

    Their armor is generally more refined than that of their predecessors; instead of the mixture of flat, crudely machined plates of varying sizes assembled in an almost piecemeal fashion, the 1960 Supersoldaten armor is somewhat more rounded and curved, the components sized and shaped to provide a much greater level of coverage and visibly matching the underlying body parts while also sloped to effectively deflect projectiles, much like tanks and other armored fighting vehicles in both function and appearance. Additionally, the face protection plate of the 1946 version is replaced with a steel mask in the shape of a boldly styled art-deco human face while the head protection is changed to aesthetically resemble a steel version of the helmets worn by other Nazi troops.

    As they wield the laser firing, electrically operated MG-60, the 1960 Supersoldaten can be a challenging enemy due to the combination of their very high damage potential, durability and excellent resilience against interruptions and stuns compared to other enemies. They have a high rate of fire so evading shots is difficult and there aren't many ways to deal damage to them without also being directly in their line of fire. The main issue is surviving their very high damage for long enough to kill them because their resistance to interruptions and stuns makes it very difficult to unload into them without taking fatal damage, as they simply won't stop firing even while taking extremely heavy hits.

    The 1960 Supersoldat has extremely high damage resistance against bullet weaponry, requiring almost 300 rounds of assault rifle fire to bring one down. Energy weapons or explosives such as the Laserkraftwerk, the plasma rifle variant of the AR Marksman, the rocket launcher, or their own MG 60s are much more effective against them, though they still require many hits to kill due to their very high health.

    The super soldiers deployed in occupied North America have been stripped of most of the human parts in favor of further cybernetic enhancements, replacing approximately 70 percent of their organic bodies. They also feature significant modifications to the design, including a new face mask, the addition of a frontal armor plate to protect the throat and an enlarged backpack.

    They are all equipped with a rocket engine mounted on their backs that allows them to rapidly close the distance to an enemy. They also pack greater firepower and tactical versatility, carrying a pair of weapons rather than just one and using a more varied arsenal of Lasergewehren, Dieselgewehren, or Hammergewehren rather than the same weapon being issued to all of them.

    Technical traits

    Before the death of Wilhelm Strasse Deathshead, he sacrificed some of the armor on his latest generation of super soldier to accommodate the increased weapon payload and the rocket pack. As a result, 1961 variants of the Supersoldaten are significantly less durable when compared to the 1960 variant, particularly lacking the 1960s variant's heavy damage resistance against bullet weaponry (going down after only a few dozen assault rifle rounds, compared to a few hundred for the 1960 variant). Additionally the fuel tanks in their back may explode, creating an additional weakness that Blazkowicz can exploit .Some time in the past, another generation of super soldiers was also being developed by Deathshead and Nazi scientists. They were to use bio-engineered super soldier bodies to remove the feral and mentally impaired drawbacks of the conventional super soldier. However, the demise of Deathshead and the heist of the prototype body by Caroline Becker stopped any chance of these bio-engineered super soldiers seeing the light of day. The super soldiers of this age are scarcely different from their 1960s predecessors, and have been deployed in large numbers in occupied France, due to its proximity to Germany. Their continued presence is a major burden to the resistance since the end of World War II, as insurgents were always crushed by the cybernetic creatures during attempted uprisings. Unlike their 1960s counterparts, they use only the Lasergewehr and the Dieselgewehr, as the Hammergewehr is used by the Hammersoldat. The addition of improved armor plating makes them somewhat more durable than the 1961 variants, even against armor-piercing ammunition, though not nearly as durable as the 1960 variants. 1980 super soldiers have some minor cosmetic improvements compared to 1961, such as a metal plate used as a "nose" to cover their exposed nasal cavity. After their capture by Z-Tech, they became repurposed and remade differently, combining all traits of the 1946-1980 in wolfenstein using the 1960 as a base but made great use of other forms of technology to create a new war machine via using technomagic of Z-Tech.

    Project Drift Z (PDZ)

    The result is a new kind of SuperSolder far more advanced than the wolfenstein ones, crafted by a collaboration of the NDSPD and the WDO, named the Supersoldaten Z1A1. The Z1A1 has combined all traits of the 1946-1980 supersoldatens in wolfenstein using the 1960 as a base but made great use of other forms of technology and magic of Z-Tech.

    The Supersoldaten Z1A1 is a refined version of the original models. A new and improved armored heavy infantry unit who wields an Z-57 machine gun and wears a face mask resembling a boldly Greco-roman styled art-deco human face while the head protection is changed to aesthetically resemble a steel version of the helmets worn by other troops. However this mask is able to move and make expressions for it is made of liquid magnetic steel and its eyes are mostly pure white without pupils

    The process is reliant on a combination of surgical alteration and growth cultivation, as appears to be the case with the 1960-1980 variants. Thx to the capture and refinement of cellular growth process, the Z1A1’s have less heavy facial scarring than the wolfenstein ones and the addition of improved armor plating makes them somewhat more durable than the wolfenstein variants, even against armor-piercing ammunition. Z-Tech super soldiers have some major cosmetic improvements compared to wolfenstein supersoldatens, such as a more advanced A.I, improved target systems, an enlarged backpack, equipped with an modern rocket jet engine mounted on their backs that allows them to rapidly close the distance to an enemy. But there are very special features that Z-Tech added to their supersolders are in more advanced and futurized power supply and advance firearms, facial scanners to distinguish enemies from allies, retractable arm blades, shoulder mounted rocket launchers

    The Bio-engineered Super Soldier Body is the latest generation of Super Soldier body developed by Deathshead and Nazi scientists. Unlike the conventional chemically-enhanced, mentally-impaired and feral Super Soldier, this body is bio-engineered separately from the subject which enables the next generation of Super Soldier to function like a normal soldier while retaining the body's superhuman strength and endurance.

    During BJ's coma, Caroline Becker stole the prototype of the body from a Nazi laboratory, which enables Set Roth to save BJ's life by transplanting his head onto the body. The heist of the body coincides with the demise of Deathshead, which prevents the Nazis from developing their Super Soldier program further.

    Unlike the Da'at Yichud armor, it cannot shield against radiation. B.J. has to wear a protective suit to shield himself from high levels of radiation.

    Contraptions

    Battle Walker: A set of stilts that allow Blazkowicz to reach higher areas. They are also helpful for reaching objectives located behind walls. They can even provide cover behind larger vehicles and buildings. However, at the same time, it slows BJ's movement and he cannot run. This contraption can also be used to scare enemy soldiers due to its literal towering effects on B.J.

    Ram Shackles: The Ram Shackles allow Blazkowicz to be an unstoppable force, plowing through breakable walls to reach new areas. In a pinch, he can also plow straight through enemies, basically killing soldiers by violently running through them causing them to be smashed into a big pile of flesh and bone. However, against Super Soldiers, it can only stun them for a few moments.

    Constrictor Harness: allow BJ to squeeze through tight spaces. Blazkowicz can fit through small crevices inside walls or even underwater pipes to move about undetected. The interesting fact about this function is that it can constrict BJ's body to fit a narrow path without crushing his bones and tissues. However, prolonged use of this contraption can result in suffocation and eventual death.

    Overview

    Each contraption grants the player a different set of abilities, separate from the abilities granted by Perks; each set of powers ties to a different playstyle. After completing the first half of the game one contraption is chosen for immediate use; after this the other two can be obtained in specific Übercommander missions wherein their use is necessary to complete the mission. The Constrictor Harness and its associated abilities will be most beneficial to a stealthy player; the Ram Shackles work best for aggressive players; the Battle Walker is the best choice for a tactical fighter.

    Contraption descriptions and abilities

    Constrictor Harness

    "The Constrictor Harness will compress your torso upon activation, allowing you to enter narrow spaces. Using the Constrictor Harness prevents you from breathing properly. Prolonged use will cause damage eventually death due to lack of oxygen."

    The Constrictor Harness allows B.J. to access certain openings and passages which are otherwise too small to fit through, allowing the player to move quickly and quietly through an area using routes which enemies cannot enter or see into or hide underneath certain objects. Its associated battery of secondary abilities primarily benefit a "Stealth" playstyle. If not selected as the initial contraption, the Constrictor Harness can be found in the Nuclear Bunker during the relevant Übercommander mission.

    Abilities granted by the Constrictor Harness include:

    Kobra: The Constrictor Harness' main function, allowing entrance into small places while crouched. Activated by crouch-walking into appropriate apertures while aiming at them. Staying in these cramped spaces too long causes health to start to deplete slowly, but most such areas are quick enough to navigate that this isn't an issue unless one stays concealed inside them for an extended period of time.

    Silent Step: Normal movement is made completely silent just like crouch-walking, and sprinting is significantly quieter. This makes stealth play significantly less tedious as the player can move faster through certain areas without increasing their risk of being detected.

    Terror-Billy: Enemies will freeze in terror upon seeing B.J., which is represented in-game as a brief period of slow motion. Getting behind cover immediately when this triggers can sometimes cancel the enemy's awareness but it's generally more effective to use the window to bring a silenced weapon to bear or close the distance for a melee takedown without other enemies being alerted. Enemies can still bring their weapons to bear whiled slowed down and if they manage to fire a shot the alarm will be raised as usual. This ability works against all human enemies (soldiers, Commanders, Übercommanders and Klansmen) and Supersoldaten but not against Kampfhunde or robots.

    Iron Lung: an upgrade to the basic Kobra ability which increases the time that the constrictor harness can be used for before health starts to deplete. Unlocked by completing Habib Ismail's side quest on the Eva's Hammer.

    Ram Shackles

    "A metal reinforcement rig protecting your upper body joints, elbows and shoulders. The Ram Shackles allow you to ram through obstacles, smash open doors and crates and pummel your enemies."

    The Ram Shackles are oriented toward the "Mayhem" playstyle and as such grant abilities mainly focused on enhancing B.J.'s capabilities in direct combat. If not selected as the initial contraption, they are found in the Bienville Street district of New Orleans during the relevant Übercommander mission.

    Rammbock: The main function, activated by sprinting. Running into certain cracked walls or metal grated doorways will smash through the wall, allowing quick entrance to previously inaccessible areas. Running into human enemies will knock them over and damage them, sometimes kill them outright or even causing their entire body to explode in a satisfying shower of gore.

    Sturdy: B.J. is no longer knocked over by explosions going off nearby, making enemy grenades and environmental explosions less dangerous.

    Cannon Arm: Grenades and hatchets are thrown much farther and faster. Hitting an enemy directly with a Handgranate will knock them down.

    Mechanic: One of the most useful of all the contraption abilities, allowing armour as well as health to be regenerated. Inactive when armour is reduced to zero, but picking up any armour boost will still trigger it; otherwise it engages automatically if no damage is taken for a few seconds. Like health regeneration, armour replenishment stops at certain intervals but can be bumped up to the next interval by collecting some; where health stops at multiples of 10, armour stops at multiples of five. Unlocked by completing Ritva Tuomivaara's side quest on the Eva's Hammer.

    Battle Walker

    "A mechanical actuator system that is mounted on your legs and activated on demand. Once activated, mechanical supports extend, allowing you to access new areas, vertical covers or other tactically advantageous positions."

    A pair of retractable metal stilts which B.J. is able stand, walk, and shoot from without balance issues. If not selected as the initial contraption, they are found in the Transporthalle on Venus during the relevant Übercommander mission. As the Battle Walker is the primary contraption for a "Tactical" playstyle the abilities it grants are more well-rounded compared to the specialized Constrictor Harness and Ram Shackles.

    Wanderer: Main function, activated by double-pressing the jump button. Extending the stilts allows access to elevated platforms or passages for more thorough exploration of an area. In combat, this ability can be used to exploit tall objects for cover while still being able to fire over them or to reach enemies firing from elevated positions for a takedown.

    Quick Draw: Time is slowed down when the Weapon Wheel is displayed, allowing for safer switching between weapons mid-fight.

    Adrenaline: A boost of 3 health is granted every time an enemy is killed. All kinds of enemies and all weapons trigger the effect.

    Stamina: Overcharged health only begins draining once damage is taken, and stops draining when health is restored. Naturally this synergizes well with the adrenaline ability. Unlocked by completing the Irina Yakova/Septimus Stubbins side quest on the Eva's Hammer.
