Orgaphone is one of the oldest record companies in the Kingdom of Sierra, establsihed as The Sierran Orgaphone Company in 1892 as a manufacturer of the Orgaphone, a record player similar to Graphophone. Orgaphone was created specifically as a Sierran-produced alternative to record devices produced by United Commonwealth-based Columbia Phonograph Company (predecessor to modern-day Columbia Records).
In its current form, Orgaphone Records is a classical and jazz record label, with one of the largest libraries in the Kingdom of Sierra. In UK and Europe, Orgaphone Records is distributed through Nixa Records. Orgaphone previously served as a parent company to a variety of record labels including Empire Records, Pacific Music and Capitol Records; it would later be reorganized into Polygon-Orgaphone following a full merger with Pye Records and eventually become modern-day Polygon Music Group, with Orgaphone Records restructured into its current incarnation.
