Pacific Music is a Sierran record label owned by Polygon Music Group as part of Pacific Empire Labels umbrella group. Founded by brothers John and Joseph Boutros in 1949, Pacific grew to become one of the most important record labels in the Kingdom of Sierra over the years. Pacific Music became well-known in soul, blues and R&B genres, with artists on its roster including... Pacific distributed a variety of Anglo-American (non-Sierran) labels within Sierra, such as Superian Harbor Records and Astorian Torch Records, and served as a distribution partner for Empire Records outside Sierra.
Pacific had been partnered with Pye Records (who distributed Pacific's artists through Pye International Records) before Pye's deal with Orgaphone which served as a first step in creating modern-day Polygon Music Group. Pacific was acquired by Polygon-Orgaphone in 1968 alongside Empire Records.

Early years
Pacific Music was founded by brothers John and Joseph Boutros, sons of Lebanese immigrants. The brothers previously worked in a record store in Pasadena ran by their father, and have long wanted to pursue further careers in record industry.
