The Pastafarian Church of JBR is the official governing religious body that represents Pastafarians living in the United States of JBR. Introduced by two internet fanatics, the religion quickly spread amongst the western area of the United States of JBR but has recently seen dramatic drops in membership count.

Background

The church is the representing body for JBR of Pastafarianism, a religion that concerns a deity known as the Flying Spaghetti Monster. One of its key factors is that the universe was created when the deity drank heavily one day. There is a heaven where there is a beer volcano and a stripper factory. There is, like Christianity, a hell, although it has a stripper factory with STD's and warm beer. Other beliefs include the divination of pirates and the recent drop of pirates as "global warming" increases. Evolutionism is considered a false teaching as Pastafarians believe that the Flying Spaghetti Monster changed the results of the scientist's estimation with relative dating. The religion was founded by Bobby Henderson and he is author of the Pastafarian holy book, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The religion has faced criticism by mainstream Christian churches and the Zitacruso Church.

Political party

The church operates and lead the Pastafarian Party, the political front of the religion which seeks to unite church and state. The party is currently the 19th largest party in the nation but slowly diminishing.
