The United States of JBR /junajtəd:stets:əv:jbr/ (also referred as the JBRican States, JBRica, or just JBR) is a promcapablic nation situated primarily in what used to be California, Nevada, Arizona, Baja California, Baja California Sur, and the Channel Islands. It also has acquired territories such as Peru, Chile, several islands in the Atlantic Ocean, and former Spanish possessions in the Mediterranean Sea. Over the course of its history, its territory varied from a collection of city-states to achieving an empire that spanned all of what originally was the United States and to the lesser extent, most of the rest of the Americas.
The JBRican States is categorized as a promcapablic government that is currently ongoing major reforms since the 2012 elections took place.. Prior to the elections, the JBRican States underwent into the transitional phrase after the Vuong Loyalist Front and European-assisted exiles deposed a fascist regime and ended World War IV. This transitional government was the continuing incarnation of the the original government which founded JBR on October 16, 2010. The former fascist regime was set up after the originally centrist promcapablic government under James Chor was overthrown by Theresa Vales II and her forces. The JBRican States was originally founded as a mainstream promcapablic republic with occasional governmental transitions including fascism in an earlier incident during the JBRican Civil War. The current government follows the same fashion and functions as that of the pre-fascist government.
The nation formed after the dissolution of the United States of America and the end of the series of wars known as the Inland War. In the international stage, its most notable membership is that as signatory of the Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact. It has shown no interest in joining the United Nations although it has been known to work with it at times. JBR is militarily connected to several alliances such as SAPAC and the European War Coalition.
Mainland United States of JBR shares borders with a European protectorate to the north (of what used to be Kyalu), another protectorate to the east, the Federal Republic of Mexico to the south, and to the west is the Pacific Ocean, which is the world's largest body of water. It was originally a constituent country to the now defunct Californian Union in which it shared borders with several neighboring affiliates. The United States of JBR has a population of about 112 million people although it had an even higher population of 120 million prior to a devastating war. The nation measures approximately 1,611,031 square miles.
The United States of JBR is a promcapablic state divided into 20 political divisions known as states, and seven territories. All of the states in the mainland excluding Vegas, Havasu, parts of the Diego Commonwealth, Mexicali, and New Baja California were part of the former Southern California. Several states and territories are situated outside the mainland including Rio in the region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Andean which comprises the former nations of Chile and Peru; Capricorn which comprises several former British overseas territory; the Mediterranean Territory which consists of former Spanish possessions. It formerly held New Disparu which was located on the opposite side of the North American continent in Québécois soil and the Midwayan Islands as the State of Midway. Each state and territory is further divided into counties which govern their own local area and cities.
Etymology
The term "JBRican" was coined by the nation's leader, Justin Vuong during the foundation of JBR. JBRican refers to anyone living or having a citizenship in the country. The word "JBR" is actually an abbreviation of "Jonos Bicuis Rucus" or "Nation of the Best" in the fake language of a tribe known as the Swelli in Vuong's series, the "Zany Adventures of Frank". The term "United States" would derive from the processor of the United States of JBR and the JBRican culture is still loosely based from the American culture. The other less used terms, the JBRican States and the Federal Republic of JBR are also accepted names of the United States of JBR.
History
Pre-JBR History
The region and land of the United States of JBR of which it stands on was originally part of California. California was a state of the defunct nation of the United States of America.

California was originally home to Native Americans about 13,000 to 15,000 years ago (the accepted JBR belief is 5,000 to 6,000 years). Numerous tribes and clans of these people lived and roamed throughout the Californian area.
European discovery
The term "California" was originated from a fable known as "Sergas de Espladain" which was published around the 1500s. The fable claimed that California was an island whose main resource was gold, and that powerful tribes of Amazonian women warriors lived there. Mapmakers and cartographers began using the term "California" for the uncharted area of the Pacific coast of North America.
In the mid-16th century, European explorers from Spain and England started exploring the coast of California. Francisco de Ulloa explored the area of Mexico and proved that Baja California was a peninsula, not an island. Despite this discovery, many Europeans continued to believe that California was an island. After the discoveries of the wealthy Aztec and Inca Empires, the Spanish Conquistadors and monarch were anxious about the rumors of wealthy cities in California. The possible Northwest Passage would also mean a possible quicker route to the Indies in Asia as well.
Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, a Portuguese explorer, was the first European to explore the Californian coast, which was to become the present coast of the United States of JBR.
He created the first shipbuilding industry on the Pacific coast, sponsored by the Guatemalan governor Pedro de Alvarado. After he built 13 ships, Cabrillo set off to explore the Pacific coast. Cabrillo and his three ships: San Salvadore, San Miguel and Victoria, set sail from the city of Barra de Navadid and after three months, he reached present-day San Diego (Diego Commonwealth). Cabrillo also discovered the California Current which made the expedition slower and harder. He reached San Diego Bay which he noted was "a closed and very good port". He named the area San Miguel. He set foot on Point Loma, making him the first European to set foot on the land of the present-day United States of JBR. He claimed the mysterious land for Spain. He landed on San Miguel Island, and sailed as far north as Point Reyes.
On November 23, 1542, Cabrillo's fleet reached Santa Catalina Island (now part of the state of Catalinan) which they called "San Salvador" in order to repair the ships. On Christmas Eve, Cabrillo stepped out of his boat and injured himself on the shin from a jagged rock. He later died on January 3, 1543. His second-in-command led the remaining crew back to Barra de Navidad where they found nothing. This made California a place of little interest. The Indians that Cabrillo encountered were not as advanced as the Europeans had hoped. They lived in groups of 100 or so in small villages. Their homes were typically huts made of thatch or wood. They wore minimal clothing in the summer. Some coastal tribes used large dugout canoes to go fishing and hunting and further northwest up the coast. Because there was no actual agriculture, most of the grown produce was limited to corn or potatoes. The rest of their food was collected from the wild (roots, nuts, berries), from the seashore (shellfish), or by hunting and fishing. Nearly all of the foods in the Indian diet were not part of a typical European diet. There was widespread trade among the various tribes, even as far east as the Colorado River. The highest form of artwork was basket-weaving, and canoes were the peak of their technology during that time. By 1565 Spanish explorers had discovered sea routes that connected the Americas to Asian areas such as the Philippines. Maps provided for these routes were often poorly made, however, and led later explorers and traders to sail off shore in various directions. San Francisco Bay (although not part of the United States of JBR), considered one of the most famous bays in the West, was undiscovered until the late 1700s.
English explorer Francis Drake sailed along the coast of California in 1579, and captured two Spanish ships. He landed somewhere along California's coast to repair his ship and left to follow Magellan's voyage route. He claimed this area for England and named it "Nova Albion". Spanish and English territorial claims were disputed and the natives were disregarded.
Sebastián Vizcaíno, a Spanish explorer, traveled along the coast of California from San Diego to Monterey. He held the first Christian service on the shores of San Diego Bay. He also noted that the Monterey Bay area was a suitable place to grow crops. In 1778, British captain James Cook mapped the coast of California and the entire west coast of North America as far north as Alaska.
Spanish colonial period
The Spanish divided California into two parts: Alta and Baja California. The present-day United States of JBR would include southern Alta California and parts of northern Baja California. In time, both Baja and Alta California sprouted missions from Spanish missionary priests. After most of the missions were developed in Alta California, Spain ruled the two divisions of California as one administrative territory. After the Seven Years War, Spain and England were the only powers left in North America. Spain was the only one with colonies along the Pacific coast, and King Charles III of Spain continued to establish missions and other outposts in Alta California for fear that the territory would be claimed by Britain. Britain already had colonies on the East coast, in the Caribbean, and more recently in Canada. However, Britain granted Spain the Louisiana Territory as a gift for participating in the Seven Years War. Russia, another potential rival, had established outposts in Alaska and farther down the Pacific coast as far as northern California. The settlements in California were the last extensions made by Spain and were established at low cost. The settlements attracted few colonists because of the isolation and remoteness of the territory. The natives lacked agriculture, the tribes were small, and the largest domesticated animal was the dog. One of their basic foods, the acorn, did not even appear in the European diet. The mission settlements barely subsisted, and they held little interest for Europeans. In 1769, Spanish Visitor General, José de Gálvez began planning an expedition to Alta California. Five detachments of soldiers, friars, and future colonists were to meet at San Diego Bay. The expedition was led by Gaspar de Portola and included several notable figures, such as Father Junípero Serra and José Raimundo Carrillo. The expedition went farther north than planned. It was supposed to stop at Monterey Bay, but because the sources from Sebastián Vizcaíno were confusing, Portola continued north all the way to San Francisco Bay, which was discovered at last. The expedition returned to San Diego on January 24, 1770.
The expedition faced scurvy because of their lack of fresh fruit and lack of experience in eating the Indians' staple diet. The expedition carried cattle, geese, fish, and other foodstuffs, as well as textiles that they traded with the local Indian tribes. Later, the ship "San Antonio" arrived with relief supplies that extended the expedition and settlement at Alta California. The survivors built a Presidio and mission in San Diego that eventually included about 3,000 Kumeyaay Indians. Juan Bautista de Anza, leading an exploratory expedition on January 8, 1774, traveled through Arizona to California, where he and his soldiers reached Mission San Gabriel Arcángel near the future city of Los Angeles. De Anza returned on a second expedition and reached San Francisco, where he built a Presidio and mission. After disputes over the Yuma Trail, there would eventually be 21 California missions established between San Diego and San Francisco. The missions were about a day apart from each other if traveling on horseback. This route, called El Camino Real, provided ease of travel and a means of communication. The missions were typically led by two to three friars and ten soldiers. The rest of the people were local Indians who had joined the settlement. About 1/6 of the surveyed land in California was owned by the missions, while the rest was reserved for retired soldiers, colonists, and the Spanish monarchy. These people were given large sums of land known as "grants", which encouraged settlers to move in more quickly. A large portion of grants were given for free to families and friends of the Californian government. Foreign settlers were allowed to gain grants if they accepted Spanish citizenship and the Catholic faith. The Mexican Inquisition was still going strong, so Protestants were forbidden to live in the territory.
Mexican period
After Mexico gained independence from Spain, Alta California became a state of the First Mexican Empire. Mexico reverted back from an empire to a republic, but this had little effect in California, which was ruled by appointed governors and alcaldes.
Annexation to the United States of America
Many Americans came to California during the mid-19th century, notably during the California Gold Rush which also attracted people from many nations, including China. The Mexican-American War of 1846 to 1848 sparked the short-lived Bear Flag Revolution. California's capital at the time, Monterrey, was captured by John D. Sloat's ships and the defenders surrendered without shooting back. Eventually, after the Mexican-American War ended, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo granted the United States sovereignty over Alta California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and other former Mexican-ruled areas. For about two years California was overseen by the U.S. military before gaining statehood in 1850. The Compromise of 1850 made sure that California was a "free state" (i.e. no slavery), and a constitutional convention earlier in 1849 had established a civilian government. Soon California became known as a land of opportunity for entrepreneurs, fortune-seekers, and immigrants from many nations.
1900 to the Dissolution of the United States of America
California's population burgeoned after the Gold Rush, attracting immigrants from the eastern states of the USA as well as from Mexico and nations in eastern Asia. San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego grew rapidly after the national railroad system finally connected the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of the USA. As California entered the 20th century and the United States grew in power, California became a major economic force, supplying agricultural products (and later oil) to the USA. The years of WWII, with California serving as the West coast bastion of warfare against Imperial Japan, were a coming-of-age for this populous and influential state. In the ensuing decades its population continued to grow, and it became a center of entertainment (Hollywood) and eventually technological innovation (Silicon Valley).
At the time of the Dissolution in 2004, a state of general anarchy prevailed in California, with small city-states based around the major population centers. These city-states struggled for influence, land, and resources, especially in southern California. In October 2010, after years of turmoil, the Victorian Grove Republic succeeded in politically unifying most of southern California.

Foundation
Led by Justin Vuong, the Victorian Grove Republic, once a McMansion community off-town from Riverside, unified the warring city-states of much of the Inland Empire. The war that preceded it was known as the "Inland War", was often very violent and consumed much of the local resources for the growing demands of the army. Vuong called for action to unify as one government and restore the United States of America. However, during a conference in the April of 2010 when it was noted that it would be virtually impossible to re-unite all of the former US, it was possible to re-unite the Southern California region. A few group of men also presented the conference a document now known as the Introduction to Promcapablicism and its Explanation which would become the founding principle of the United States of JBR. Promcapablicism was chosen as the national government and it was noted that several city-states were using the form of government prior to the conference. The week before the foundation was marked with celebration and citizenship forms were sent to nearly every person living in the area claimed by the future United States of JBR. The days following the establishment of JBR was filled with the establishments of federal agencies and a military.
====Blood Wars====
Viridian Entente
After the narrow victory of the United States of JBR, the government was seeking to become part of an organized government known as an alliance. Several messengers from other countries visited the country and offered protection for the JBRicans. One particular messenger, deviousfairie, from the Viridian Entente, convinced well enough for President Vuong. The United States of JBR changed from the blue team to the green team. The Viridian Entente asked the President to study in their academy where he would learn the basics on how to govern a proper government, regardless of form, and how to make sure his country would function well in the alliance. President Vuong later submitted an exam to the Academy of the Viridian Entente and awaited response. He waited for nearly a week until he received a message from the academy asking him to leave the alliance and exit the academy. Vuong accused the Viridian Entente for failing their part in reading the exam in which Vuong submitted. Enraged, he addressed to his people that an alliance was no need and that JBR could fend for itself. It was eventually found out that Vuong submitted the wrong exam; which was his shopping list that was supposed to give his butler to. Had he submitted the correct exam, JBR would be in the Viridian Entente.
Great Change of Morality and Views
After a few days since the dispute with the Viridian Entente, a religious and political era known as the Great Change of Morality and Views occurred. This era had two phases: the Buddhist Period and the Great Guru Propaganda Period.
Buddhist Period
The Buddhist Period is the first phase of the Great Change of Morality and Views era. The original and traditional religion in the area was Christianity but a growing number of Eastern movement followers helped boost the number of adherents of Buddhist faith, compared to the traditional Abrahamic faiths. The Period hit Orange Republic first which already had a large population of Buddhists. After celebrities decided to join the faith, fans of various sorts decided to jump on the bandwagon and practice the religion. Buddhism called for spiritual enlightenment, although many prominent monks were concerned that its adherents joined because it was more of a "fad". To help combat this, several monks organized commentaries designated to JBRicans, in order to practice religion with truth and actual care. During the very same period, the unofficial Pastafarian Church of JBR (it would later be officially established in the beginning of 2011) was growing fast and the rivaling Zitacruso Church as well.
Buddhism did not have a centralized belief in a deity, and it confused many citizens who no longer saw the religion as a "fad". A guru by the name Ralph Gajj from the religion of Hinduism decided to take advantage of the discouraged citizens by publicizing the works and beliefs of Hinduism. Hinduism was strikingly similar to Buddhism in ways, but it also featured deities—and this led the large conversion of Buddhists back to Hinduism.
Also around this time, a teacher of SGI Nichiren Buddhism arose in the outlying territory of Kern. He had few followers, but many sympathizers. He called himself "Vaslov" and claimed to be a reincarnation of Ashoka, the only true Buddhist king and emperor in all history. Many Hindus in his territory switched back to Buddhism, and the earlier Buddhist monks and celebrities abandoned the fad of instant faith in anything irrational. However, the Guru Propaganda became popular within a year or two.
Great Guru Propaganda
The Great Guru Propaganda is the second phase of the Great Change of Morality and Views era. Gajj successfully gathered thousands of converts and became the national spiritual leaders to these converts. After the conversion of thousands of Buddhists to Hindus, several extremists decided to make a theocracy by first overthrowing the current promcapablic government. This idea started to build up and several videos online encouraged Hindus alike to destroy the current government. The JBRican government eventually shut down these videos but these videos leaked elsewhere on the Internet. Soon, the extremists gained enough support and recruited many supporters in underground markets. Although the Gajj attempted to prevent this from happening, several extremists rallied zealous practitioners to come and raid into JBR City. The attacking mob was immediately stopped by JBRican Police although some were Hindus themselves. The extremists opened fire and killed several police officers in action before taken into custody and sentenced 20 years of imprisonment each. The protesters were also rounded up and about 10% of them were detained in rehabilitation centers. Gajj attempted to reconcile the general Hindu population and sent an apology to the government that the extremists nearly overthrew the government. Gajj later left the country to move elsewhere while the abandoned Hindus continued practicing Hinduism.
New Pacific Order
The incident was still not cleared up by the government when an unexpected invitation from an alliance by the name of the New Pacific Order offered protection and wealth to the United States of JBR. Already discouraged by the Viridian Entente, the President and government were weary about joining but after the few several months of disorder, Vuong reluctantly applied for Pacifican membership. He was accepted by WorldConqueror and he was given an exam to see whether or not his country was what the New Pacific Order needed. After a few days, he received a message from Farrin, a high member of the Order, told him that he passed narrowly by one question and that the United States of JBR was officially a member of the New Pacific Order. Surprised, he addressed to the country on public television and shocked many citizens. On December 1, 2010, the United States of JBR officially became part of the New Pacific Order and the Pacifican Banner rose on top of the old JBRican flag at the capital. The nation celebrated with festivals and many citizens booked flights to visit Francograd, the capital of the Order. The President became a wiki author, a recruiter, a tech procurer, and later on, a diplomat for the alliance. The new supreme leader of JBR was Emperor Cortath although in reality, Justin Vuong would remain the actual head of state.
Dawkins N' Marx Period
The following time period became known as the "Dawkins N' Marx Period" which was a short-lived time where irreligion and communism dominated the entire country. After the introduction of Francoism into the United States of JBR, many officials and citizens were fascinated by the philosophies that talked about how mankind could become at its best. Because of this, many of the Hindus started to blame the flaws of religion and the dangers of it. This gave a large concern by the Christian fundamental evangelicals. Humanism became an appeal to many citizens and many of these said humanists wanted to help the world by improving it. A great deal of these humanists began to detach themselves from religion entirely and after being presented the book known as The God Delusion, many became atheists or agnostics. The worrisome religious institutions and organizations were placed in exile by the general public. Up until this point, humanism was often frowned upon but the growing presence of the need of logic and reasoning helped humanism and secularism dominate much of the population. Some religious scholars presented ideas on ways how God and science could become one but had little or no voice in the government or media. Because of this, people who still practiced religion were ignored and even harassed by former friends and family members. Many religious citizens felt threatened by the growing irreligious community and felt a future possible persecution in the near future. This belief led to a diaspora of Christians, Hindus, and Buddhists alike. Meanwhile, the system of promcapablicism began being questioned and notable flaws were pointed out by political ideologists. Communism was presented by a group of political scientists who reasoned that private property should belong to the government and there be a centralized economy. A peaceful transition from promcapablicism to communism was enacted and President Vuong became "Glorious Leader or the Premier". Several Christian evangelists tried to help get Christians back into the country of irreligious citizens by illegally importing Bibles and Veggie Tales DVDs. These Christians were tried in court but they escaped and fled to other nations. Some countries decided to cut off bonds until religious tolerance could be made. President Vuong decided to become a Seventh-day Adventist again and because of this, the hostility on religion lessened. However, much of the public and government remained irreligious and even criticized the President for being "weak-minded".
Ghostly Bar Era
The Ghostly Bar Era began sometime in the mid-December 2010 and started off when a lady by the name of Madame Caralia began hosting a paranormal show on the popular satellite program, RiteTV. The show was called "Spirits Among Us" which was pro-Voodooism, as she was a Voodoo practitioner and attempted to convince that there was "logic" and "supernatural". At first, the public watched the shows for entertainment and mocked Caralia for making up "fairy tales". However, as the show slowly approached to its planned second season (which was later canceled by Caralia's personal conversion to Christianity), many of the irreligious people became convinced and the appeal of the belief of ghosts grew. This weakened the bonds of irreligion and eventually,
the communist government became a "soft totalitarian" police state. Horror and science fiction media became increasingly popular as well and several citizens even built settlements in or near ghost towns. Madame Caralia became the spokesperson for Voodooism in the nation and she often appeared on talk shows where she held public seances. The Ghostly Bar Era came to an end after several Christian theologians started the Christian Revivalist Movement. Caralia herself converted to Christianity and disbanded her popular TV series to much of her fans' disappointment. The government of totalitarianism would remain until the end of the Anarchic Disorder Month which convinced the principles of promcapablicism was right.
Anarchic Disorder Month and the Baltic War
Annihilation Week
Annihilation Week or the Baltic War was a brief and bloody time that happened before the Anarchic Disorder Month. The United States of JBR declared war on the Baltic Alliance because the members there raided the New Pacific Order. Originally, only one nation attacked the Order but the others came and gave JBR a warning. They were heavily countered by Asasha, a fellow Pacifican and the Baltic Alliance was wiped off from Planet Bob after Admin destroyed them for "multi-accounting".
Anarchic Disorder Month
The Anarchic Disorder Month was an event that occurred and linked to with the Chaldean-Pacifican War. The Chaldean forces successfully brought the nation of the United States of JBR to anarchy and bounced the nation into bill lock in which the government could not pay for the national debt. The Anarchic Disorder Month was not really a month, but was two weeks of complete anarchy and protesting. The citizens were distressed and complaining about the lack of any public service to help themselves. As well as to this, several anti-JBRicans wanted to cease the moment by helping Chaldea and overthrow the JBRican government. This radical group of people were known as the Quad which consisted of four main leaders. Supposedly, these leaders were relatives of the extremist Hindus back in the Great Guru Propaganda although it has been reported that the Quad were part of an organization known as the New World Order. Some have linked these people as members of the secret society of Freemasons although the official say from the society is this:

For whatever the Quad was affiliated to, the group spent a large time trying to destroy the infrastructure and inner central power of the promcapablic government of JBR. They threatened officials and their families with death which caused a large secret diaspora. President Vuong and the Group of 25 fled in peril from the angry citizens and briefly stayed with ADude, the mentor and Pacifican adviser of Vuong. The Anarchic Disorder Month was marked with hijacked television programs and large reports of intentional car crashes in freeways. Vandalism on national monuments, the burning of the Pacifican and JBRican flags, and killing of several citizens were one of the characteristics of this conflict. Several Christian scholars decided to soothe the disoriented mobsters and this help weakened the stronghold of the anti-JBRican revolutionary organizers. By the end of December 2010, the anarchic rage ended and the JBRican forces also received aid from Swamplandia. This aid helped end the Chaldean-Pacifican War and put an end to Chaldea.
Christian Revival Era
After the Anarchic Disorder Month, the United States of JBR has seen several recoveries in both economically and politically. Christianity is again at its prominence and promcapablicism remains a stronghold of the government. The United States of JBR has also entered yet another war, the nation of union neolatinosovie which helped aid a Pacifican enemy. The United States of JBR has also seen dramatic increase in production and labor and thus, provide more wealth for the JBRicans. This era is considered the current time period.
PB-NpO War
The PB-NpO War became the first major war the United States of JBR. Its first target was a fellow Mushroom Kingdom nation named Testiclania. The United States of JBR was alarmed when GOONS was part of the enemy (although it was already obvious as GOONS was part of both Pandora's Box and the Doom House Accords. Soon two GOONS member came and attacked. It brought the nation into anarchy although the government was still efficiently running and the general public did not riot. After the wars expired, the United States of JBR declared war on Laland, a GOONS nation and claimed victory on the first day despite being outnumbered. Laland attacked with full force but luckily, JBR managed to resurface from it. Citizens began to spark more anger to the Doom House Accords for their ridiculous casus belli. Some began protesting at JBR City.
A major earthquake in the state of Barstow was also felt. On February 11, 2011, a large earthquake rocked the small state of Barstow with a 7.8 on the Richer Scale. About 8,000 were pronounced dead and another 20,000 were found homeless. The city of Barstow and Apple Valley were severely damaged and local hospitals were found in debris. Paramedics and aide officers had to take 1 hour before reaching the devastated areas. Soon, Laland stopped attacking as the government of JBR struggled with its national bill lock. On February 11, it exited this bill lock and by February 13, it declared war on the nation of Bronti Laos. Meanwhile, the funeral of Daniel Olly took place and the day was reserved for a national day of mourning.
Several days later, the Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact was founded and the United States of JBR quickly gained more diplomatic access to several countries. Meanwhile, two GOONS nations declared war on JBR because the Supreme Field Marshal attacked one of the GOONS' allies: Bronti Laos. The United States of JBR was given a surrender terms from a GOONS member and possible refuge from the war and even persuasion to join GOONS but the President refused.
The United States of JBR was returned with a large wave of invasion and another GOONS member declared war. The President was said to have kept a positive attitude when he was in the Order's embassy in GOONS regardless of the current state of war. Soon, after the warring GOONS forces left JBR, the country declared itself a peaceful nation in efforts to rebuild. The President was sick for a while so the King had to take care of the country for quite sometime. The United States of JBR eventually received aid to rebuild from the destruction.
Amidst the war, the United States of JBR captured a large portion of the former Disparuean lands; particularly most of Coronet excluding the city of Jubilife. Some criticized this move of JBR as an "imperialist" act from JBRicans and Disparueans alike. In spite of this, New Disparu became a territory with an established militia and government along with a firm economic plan. The United States of JBR also joined the Death 101 Squad, a military squadron for the New Pacific Order and served as leader in effort to counter Doom House enemies. The Death 101 Squad is composed of 5 members.
Vuong-Norton-Pikachurin Sub-Era
The Christian Revival Era was merged to the Vuong-Norton-Pikachurin supra-administration political time period or the Vuong-Norton-Pikachurin Sub-Era on March 4, 2011. It began when the former Disparuean king and chancellor, Lance Pikachurin became Vice King of the United States of JBR. His family also became royals; his wife becoming a queen regnant (actually, Vice Queen) of the United States of JBR. The United States of JBR also entered another active goal in STOP, creating the STOP Act of Free Trade Agreement of 2011.
The Doom House-NPO War was still ongoing but on March 10, 2011, the United States of JBR officially declared war on the terrorist organization known as the Anti-Infidel League of the Islamic Resistance. Other terrorist organizations such as the National Revolutionary Front from the Union of Midway caused much worry from the public and government. They would later declare war on JBR. The Congress was working on the 2011 Act of Counter-terrorism Intelligence and Anti-Blatant Opposition before it was abandoned due to government chance later on. Separately, Vice King Lance Pikachurin began developing his own anti-terrorism bill which is currently known as "Code FLQ Memorial" which is supposedly named after his and Disparu's former terrorists, the FLQ or the Front de libération du Québec.
The United States of JBR began encouraging civilians to get more involved with their local government. The Congress also formed the Act of United Farmers which is a program dedicated to provide free equipment and supplies to farmers throughout the United States of JBR.
On March 11, a series of various battles erupted which also resulted in the Pikachurin kidnapping incident. The Pikachurins were kidnapped by several Disparuean Independence Movement soldiers. They only served for a week as JBRican royals up to this incident. In response, the Deltoran Republic and Union of Midway came into assistance to locate the abducted officials.
The Pikachurins were rescued finally on March 19 and Francis Roy was granted a commutation by President Vuong by Lance Pikachurin's request. The day was marked with celebration although there were several protests that were unrelated to the rescue; regarding tobacco and the selling of tobacco products near educational facilities. The Tobacco Act launched by Congressman Edgar Carey proposed it illegal for stores to sale tobacco if they were within 5 miles from an educational facility and public buildings. Tobacco companies criticized this and argued that it would hurt the economy badly.
The Soviet Union Kingdom and Union of Midway became increasingly active with exchanging businesses with JBR, the two said nations had one of their largest companies to expand business into the United States of JBR. The Jihad War also seemed to be put into hiatus although this made many officials alarmed that a possible large attack could be expected. Several diplomatic cables were leaked by AIL and many contained sensitive information. Some of this information included talks of privacy invoking by several House of Representatives. This sparked a public outcry and three Representatives were expelled for conspiring of privacy evasion.
===Mary Age===
The Mary Age began on March 30, 2011 when Emperor Cortath, then leader of the New Pacific Order and indirect leader of the United States of JBR, resigned and appointed Imperial Regent Mary the Fantabulous as the 5th Emperor. The Mary Age in the United States of JBR began off with a dramatic decrease in gas prices by 20% after the discovery of oil found just 20 miles north of Barstow; outside the United States of JBR's borders. Dispute on whether JBR would own this or the natives there sparked debate in the Congress although the general public has been in favor for this oil. The oil was found just under a small dry lake deposit and held well over 5 million tons. On April 2, the Congress declared that 50% of all the oil belonged to the United States of JBR while the other half belonged to the natives. This gave the United States of JBR about 2.5 million tons and the Congress gave 45% of this to the major private corporations. The rest were put in stock.
General public opposition in the territory of New Disparu caused pressure on the JBRican government and by April 7, the government had New Disparu dissolved and "ceded" it to the Free State of Quebec which was already receiving popularity from the locals. The JBRican government also exposed that the Pikachurin Family within the JBRican government were actually the Willow Family. The Willows were decoys of the United States of JBR and were used in attempt to gather local support from New Disparu. After New Disparu was dissolved, the government decided there was no use in keeping the decoys under guise but continued using them due to their political experience. On that same day, the Willows were formally crowned and had the House of Pikachurins renamed to the House of Willow. The international community condemned JBR for its scandalous acts and several imposed trade sanctions on JBR. President Justin Vuong admitted he unknowingly knew of this and confirmed that it was the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States of JBR that made this occur.
On April 8, the CIA stormed into the Presidential Palace at the capital and overthrew the Vuong Administration. Almost immediately, the United States of JBR was quickly converted into a more dictatorial promcapablic nation and nearly all government officials were replaced by the Vales Administration. Theresa Vales, the former Director of the CIA, became the 2nd President of JBR and declared sovereignty above the Constitution. She sent Vuong and his allies to exile and Vales had JBR side with the Pro-AIL Forces whom the CIA were secretly allied with before the military takeover. The Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact agreed to expel the JBRican States until Vuong or a loyalist could return to office and Vales had JBR withdraw from the New Pacific Order. Within hours of the coup, the JBRican Civil War erupted with two main forces being the Vuong loyalists versus the Vales Administration. Vales and her government used strong attempts to keep its power and violated many human rights such as the JBR City Massacre during the beginning of its reign. The administration nearly succeeded in destroying Bobogoobo with its "New Manhattan Project Bomb" before it was taken by loyalists in the New Manhattan Project Siege.
On April 15, the JBRican Soviet Socialist Republic declared its existence and caused more aggression between existing combatants. The war increased in complexity as various combatants sided with others. In the Great Battle of California, the economy of JBR dropped dramatically and wiped out about 1.2 million people. A major blow to the Vales Administration, it began recruiting large numbers of citizens in attempt to liberate the various areas captured by its enemies. The Vales Administration also formally showed its agenda reflected to fascism. Throughout the war, Vales and Kendell violated much of the JBRican right's and planned on extending her power over to distant lands. She purchased the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro on April 22 from the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Finally, Vales and her administration was dissolved when the loyalists captured her in the Battle of Loma Linda on April 23. The JBRican Soviet Socialist Republic surrendered to the United States of JBR shortly after Vales' capture and signed the Treaty of San Diego. The JBRican States then declared war on the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and entered the Midwayan Civil War although JBR never attacked as the Midwayan Armistice was signed. The JBRican government was soon declared war by the Communist Party of the Deltoran Republic. The JBRican government quickly recognized hostility but aimed to keep the conflict to a minimum. Efforts to boost the JBRican economy again began sprouting as businesses re-opened and people were once again allowed to buy freely under the JBRican capitalist system. JBR City and other cities destroyed during the war were quickly re-built by volunteers and cost little to the government. Known as "Operation Free", citizens agreed to re-build JBR with volunteer work with governmental assistance. Many JBRicans believed it was a patriotic duty and the People's Branch proposed the Volunteer Act of 2011 to the Congress. The Act encouraged civilians and public officials to volunteer and to ask for aid from the Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact Orange Cross Organization.
In spite of the slow economic progression, the United States of JBR hosted the Rio Summit and entered the Prussian Civil War to assist its new ally, the Prussian Empire. The United States of JBR also passed the Volunteer Act of 2011 on May 2. The Act had positive results and most states saw a major increase in rebuilding. The JBRican government gained a significant amount of surplus and donated $10 million of it to the Pacific Empire's project on building STOP's headquarters.
When the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic collapsed, the Great Pacific War erupted and JBR fought against the United Pacific Aligned Coalition. The nations of Chile and Peru quickly captured Rio and eventually attacked the United States of JBR on April 17. This prompted the JBRican government to create a unitary state with its newly-made ally and neighbor, the Central Kingdom. The two governments signed the Treaty of California and JBR became part of the Californian Union. However, within 24 hours of the signing, the Union was attacked by Chile and within two days, many JBRican and Centraler officials were kidnapped or captured. A small band of disorganized officials formed and the Vuong Loyalist Front became the new military of JBR's remaining government. Supreme Admiral Ethan Du assumed role as Acting President and former Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Peruvian and Chilean forces soon expanded its power into JBR's northern neighbor and JBR's sole constituent companion, the Central Kingdom. Shortly after this gain, the Loyalist Front became more aggressive. The Peruvian and Chilean forces retreated its reign over areas around JBR City and Victoria on May 24. By early June, UPAC left the JBRican States and the government began "Operation REVENGE" and the "Counter-Revolution" campaigns. On June 10, the Unified Free Peaceful Nice Survivors were granted sovereignty over Bakersfield and Kern. This region, which had resisted and escaped the political/military turmoil of the Post-Dissolution years, entered into free association with the JBRican States soon after.
Red Terror
The Red Terror, is a sub-time period of the Mary Age immediately preceding the end of the Great Pacific War and a new time period where the Soviet Union of Socialist Republics and Quad become increasingly a concern to JBR. On June 15, 2011 the United States of JBR and its allies defeated its enemies in the Great Pacific War and gained military occupation over Peru and Chile for a year. Immediately upon the end of the war, the South American Protection and Assistance Community was founded with JBR and Central Kingdom being the only non-South American member states. On June 16, the JBRican States participated with other Sunshiner nations in the 2011 STOP Games and published the Pikachurin-Willow Files, a declassified publication regarding the issue during the Pikachurin political scam. On the same day, the Senate appointed Congressional Representative Catalina Nedelcu as Chancellor while permanently appointing Arnold Schwarzenegger as a member of the Joint Service Officers.
In July, the People's Branch declared a limit on the High Executive Committee's term from life to two years. Children's suffrage was recognized and after minor disputes, the voting limit was lowered to 15. A minor terrorist conflict erupted on July 12 with FNR and AIL; shortly after Midway's July 9th Attacks. The Vuong Administration later decided to enter a minor conflict known as the Utah-Hearse War in defense for the unrecognized country of the Utah Republic from an anarchic, terrorist group known as the Hearse Express. Shortly after the entry of the Utah-Hearse War, the newly founded Confederacy of Texas requested military assistance on July 21. The JBRican Armed Forces were quickly dispatched to the Confederacy and the JBRican States officially joined the Texan War on the side of the McCulloch's Confederacy on July 22. On the same day, the JBRican States officially gained direct control of the Chilean Antarctic Territory through an agreement with one of its associated states, Chile. Previously, they had indirect control over this area. Shortly after this, the Republic of Bekolan told the JBRican government about several civilians being abducted by a possible Quad crew near the southern outskirts of the Pacific Empire. It was speculated that Quad could have been housed in Antarctica so JBR, Bekolan, and eventually the Pacific Empire and Union of Midway joined the search party.
On July 27, the July 27 incident became one of the most critical moments with JBR and Quad—an incident that would temporarily cause diplomatic confusion with JBR's allies and usurping the Third Midwayan Civil War and the attempted assassination of Michael Kenny of Bekolan. Kenny eventually recovered and President Vuong made a state visit to Bekolan regarding the economies of JBR and Bekolan. The visit was considered a success and was well received by Bekolanish and JBRican citizens alike in general.
The Red Terror subsided after the JBRican States publicly apologized to China and vowed to reestablish ties with the Soviet Union of Socialist Republics. This was regarded as a "smart motive" by the People's Branch and the Prussian Empire followed suit in apologizing. China later recognized JBR's and Prussia's apologies. The States was also responsible for inviting China, Korea, and Vietnam to join the 2012 STOP Games. China would eventually became the host country of the 2012 Beijing STOP Games but was briefly contested by Bekolanish President Kenny. Vuong later proposed various elements for diplomacy in STOP as well as the concept of the Polaris Organization of Sunshiner Allies and remaining neutral with China's declaration of war on Mongolia. It joined two wars in August including the Cypriot War which included a Turkish-led Northern Cyprus forces against Cyprus. As a supporter for the seceding state, Northern Cyprus—and an ally of Turkey—the JBRican States declared war on Cyprus. Later, after one of its allies, Panama, was overthrown unexpectedly and requested help, the JBRican States declared war on the new government, the Socialist Republic of Panama. This war became known as the Panama War and the States quickly found itself in a conflict of interest with the Soviets. At the same time, a secret invasion of Quad presence in Antarctica (which was allowed by the United Nations Security Council) was enforced for 2 weeks and later deemed a success, destroying various Quad "colonies" and their workers. Near the end of August, the JBRican States acquired the United Atlantic Islands and renamed it Capricorn. In the first week of September, a leaked document released from WikiLeaks revealed that the Congress passed a law allowing invasion of the Union of Midway in the following year although this was later resolved with President Vuong vetoing it.
On September 9, 2011, Vuong unexpectedly resigned from office after the People's Branch declared his extended term illegal and shortened it by two years. Vuong named his successor Smith Wellington and the entire Vuong Administration was replaced. The Wellington Administration's first acts included assisting the United Republic of Ireland and unilaterally annexed the Union of Midway which received condemnation from JBR's strongest allies. Wellington attempted to fix these relations while also dealing with increased terrorist activities sparking throughout the world. He also authorized the JBRican-Nicaraguan negotiations on the Nicaragua Canal project.
The Midwayan Islands were granted autonomy and became the Territory of Midway near mid-September. A few weeks after this, the States quickly gained Gibraltar, Ceuta, and Melilla through the Treaty of Madrid. This treaty formally established the Mediterranean Territories and granted Spain and Morocco free access around the territories' waters. The Supreme Court quickly abolished secessionism in the JBRican States and was criticized by the Wellington Administration and numerous anti-imperialists. Ties between Ireland and the JBRican States strengthened as the States began assisting Ireland fight off a separatist terrorist organization known as the UFF. A state visit with various world leaders such as Alfred von Schliefen and Frank Jaegar commenced on October 1 and would continue until October 16, the anniversary of the JBRican States.
Finally, on October 7, 2011, the State of Midway announced that it was part of the JBRican States after several days of compromise; the Senate confirmed this the following day. On the same day, former President Vuong and ex-Chancellor Nedelcu were both attacked in Venice by Quad agents, Italy resulting in the hospitalization of the former and disappearance of the latter. This generated stronger demands for counterterrorism and Wellington was prompted to increase more funding.
JBRican States under Quad
On October 9, 2011, Smith Wellington was assassinated by a Midwayan radical named Shintarō Takeshita, and in following elections James Chor became President. However, on October 28, 2011, a coup conducted by Quad deposed Chor of his power and Theresa Vales II became ruler of JBR. She quickly changed the government to what is seen by many as a fascist dictatorship, most notably through the implementation of the HONOR Act. Midwayans believed that this was in violation of the compromise which made Midway a state, and the Communist Party of Midway called for a people's war. The first uprising was quickly put down by Vales, but a second uprising occurred shortly afterwards, and in the first battle of the Midwayan People's War the city of New Atlantis was captured by rebels.
World War IV
On November 7, after Vales announced that the Parliament of the Californian Union abolished the Californian Union, she annexed the former constituent countries to the JBRican States. One of the countries included the Democratic People's Republic of California which was a member of the Soviet Union of Socialist Republics. Through the Treaty of Beijing, China cited that the annexation was illegal and declared war on JBR, thus, starting World War VI. The other members of SUSR followed suit followed by former JBRican ally the Prussian Empire. Soon, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization declared war on JBR. Quad, the superseding body over JBR, triggered a large series of coups in South America giving JBR more allies in response to the quick worldwide reaction. SAPAC was quickly dissolved after this.

Geography, climate, and environment
The United States of JBR's territory extends over 50,000 square miles, spanning across the former Southern California, Western Nevada and Arizona, parts of Baja California, and the Channel Islands. It also possesses several territories in South America, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the Mediterranean, and Antarctica. It is the second-largest nation within the North American region; the others being the Deltoran Republic and the anarchic lands which status could be or not be defined as a "nation".
The mainland of the United States of JBR is separated from the rest of the original state of California by the east-west trending Transverse Ranges, including the Tehachapi, which separate the Central Valley from the Mojave Desert. Urban United States of JBR intersperses the valleys between the Santa Susana Mountains, Santa Monica Mountains and San Gabriel Mountains, which range from the Pacific Coast, eastward over 100 miles (160 km), to the San Bernardino Mountains, north of Victoria and south of Barstow. The highest point of the range is Mount San Gorgonio at 11,499 feet (3,505 m). The San Gabriel Mountains have the Mount Wilson observatory, where the redshift was discovered in the 1920s.
The Transverse Ranges include a series of east–west trending mountain ranges that extend from Point Conception at the western tip of Barbaran, eastward (and a bit south) to the east end of the San Jacinto Mountains in western Victoria. The Santa Ynez Mountains make up the westernmost ranges, extending from Point Conception to the Ventura River just west-northwest of Ojai, in Barbaran and Malibustan. Pine Mountain Ridge, Nordhoff Ridge–Topatopa Mountains, Rincon Peak–Red Mountain, Sulphur Mountain, Santa Paula Ridge, South Mountain–Oat Mountain–Santa Susana Mountains, Simi Hills, Conejo Mountains–Santa Monica Mountainsare all part of the Western Transverse Ranges, in Barbaran, Malibustan, and western Angeles.
The Liebre Mountains occupy the northwest corner of the state of Angeles, and represent a northwestern extension of the San Gabriel Mountains, both on the Pacific Plate side of the San Andreas Fault. The fault divides the San Gabriel Mountains from the San Bernardino Mountains further to the east in Victoria.
It is possible to surf in the Pacific Ocean and ski on a mountain during the same winter day in the United States of JBR.
The Los Angeles, San Gabriel, and Santa Ana Rivers deposit sediment from the Transverse Ranges along the southern coast of California continuously. Because of that, sediment has formed the large, flat expanse of land known as the Los Angeles Basin, on which lives most of the population of Angeles, Catalinan, and the Orange Republic.
At its deepest point, near where the Los Angeles River meets the Rio Hondo, the sediment forming the basin is 6 miles (10 km) deep. The fact that so much sediment, which is naturally less stable than other geologic formations, underlies Angeles and its environs is one of the reasons earthquakes are such a danger to the metropolitan area.
There are harsh deserts in the Southeast of the United States of JBR and areas of Vegas, Havasu, and Mexicali. These deserts are caused by a combination of the cold offshore current, which limits evaporation, and the rain shadow of the mountains. The prevailing winds blow from the ocean inland. When the air passes over the mountains, adiabatic cooling causes most water in the air to rain on the mountains. When the air returns to sea level on the other side of the mountains, it recompresses, warms and dries, parching the deserts. When the wind blows from inland, the resulting hot dry winds are called the Santa Ana Winds which are notorious for its reputation of setting off wildfires.
The Mojave Desert is bounded by the peninsular Tehachapi Mountains on the Northwest, together with the San Gabriel and the San Bernardino Mountains on the Southwest. These Western boundaries are quite distinct, forming the dominant pie-slice shaped Antelope Valley in the United States of JBR. The outlines of this valley are caused by the two largest faults in the United States of JBR: the San Andreas and the Garlock. The Mojave Desert extends Eastward into the state of Vegas. The Mojave Desert receives less than 6 inches of rain a year and is generally between 3,000 and 6,000 feet of elevation. Areas such as the Antelope Valley desert which is a high desert receive snow each year. Most of the towns and cities in the JBRican portion of the Mojave are relatively small, except for Palmdale and Lancaster. However, some are quite famous like Barstow, a popular stop on the famous JBR (formerly a U.S. route) Route 66. The Mojave Desert also contains the lowest, hottest place in the Americas: Death Valley, where temperature normally approaches 120 °F (49 °C) in late July and early August.
The southernmost mountains of the United States of JBR are the Peninsular Ranges, which are east of the Diego Commonwealth and continue into Mexicali in the Sierra San Pedro Martir. The Peninsular Ranges contain the Laguna Mountains, the San Jacinto Mountains, the Santa Rosa Mountains, the Santa Ana Mountains and the Palomar Mountain Range, notable for its famous Palomar observatory. San Jacinto Peak's eastern shoulder has a cable tram that runs from the desert floor to nearly the top of the mountain where riders can set off hiking or go cross-country skiing.
To the east of the peninsular ranges lie the Colorado and Sonoran Deserts, which extend into Havasu and Mexicali.
The ground elevation is generally lower and in some areas was compressed downward, therefore the eastern Coachella and Imperial Valleys north of the Diego Commonwealth are below sea level, the lowest community in the United States of JBR is Calipatria, Imperial at 160 feet (49 m) below sea level.
One feature of the desert is the Salton Sea, an inland lake that was formed in 1905 when a swollen Colorado River breached a temporary canal near the former U.S.-Mexican border and flowed into the Salton Sink (Salton Basin) for almost two years. Today, the Salton Sea, a new version of the historic Lake Cahuilla, remains as California's largest lake.
The Channel Islands are a group of islands off the coast of the United States of JBR. They are divided into two groups, the Northern Muffin Channel Islands and the Southern Muffin Channel Islands.
Four of the islands are located in Barbaran, two are located in Malibustan County, and two are located in Angeles County. The islands have relatively few people. The only island with a large settlement is the Santa Catalina, a division of the state of Catalinan, with its city of Avalon and the smaller city of Two Harbors. The islands of Anacapa, San Miguel, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Santa Rosa make up the Channel Islands National Park. There is also a marine sanctuary in the islands, the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.
The climate of the United States of JBR is mostly that of a Mediterranean-like weather; with cool winters and warm summers. The states of Imperial, Barstow, Vegas, and Havasu are very warm and often receive little water. Winters are often mild with snowfall appearing in the various mountain ranges in northern United States of JBR and Big Bear. The country rarely encounters tornadoes, something that only occurs twice every century. Being an earthquake-prone zone, tsunamis can hit the coastlines of JBR although there has been no tsunami within the present history of JBR. The warm summers in the main urban areas of JBR often start off heatwaves.
The Pacific Ocean also influences the climate of JBR and its winds can sometimes create the Santa Ana Winds, a violent warm wind that can set off wildfires.
The environment of JBR is diverse, home to several native flora and fauna such as the JBRican Red Eagle and the rare Desert Bear. The Sub-terrain Meerkat is the prominent species of JBR and is the national animal. Because of the high concentration of cars, smog is common and negatively affects the environment. However, the JBR Congress's recent act, the 2011 Act of Fairer Air, requires that car manufacturers must ensure their products do not produce a high amount of carbon dioxide. Littering is often frowned upon and violators often pay higher bills for littering than speeding on a freeway. Some parts of the coastlines of JBR are protected and the various forests in the country are also national parks where the ecosystem in their respective areas can thrive and live from human activity.
Outside the "mainland", the JBRican States constitutes former Peru, Chile, the Midwayan islands, Saint Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha, Gibraltar, Ceuda, Melilla, the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, Central Kingdom, Gauntletia, Kern, and the Democratic People's Republic of California.

Original form
Under the original United States of JBR, it was a promcapablic nation. The government of the United States of JBR ruled itself independently though it was ultimately run by the government of the Californian Union which is led by the Parliamentary of the Californian Union and the Emperors (in the second half of its reign). In a national level, the head of state was the President which actually consisted of two persons: the Imperial and Regent Presidents. The President was also considered a duumvirate. Next in power was the Monarch, Vice Monarch, and the other members of a body known as the High Executive Committee. These leaders were part of the Executive Branch which exercised executive, legislative, and judicial power. Despite the fact that these leaders had the most power in government, there were three other minor branches that also played a role and slightly balance the power. This included the Congress, the main legislative front; the Supreme Court, the main judicial front; and the People's, the branch reserved for the civilians. The Executive Branch held a near-absolute power although were only given permission to rule by the People's authorization as coded in the Introduction to Promcapablicism and its Explanation where the people were known as the "child" and the government is the submitted parent that are both bounded together in exchange and contraction or a social contract. This has been ignored when the First Vales Administration entered into the government and the Legislative, Judicial, and People's Branch have all been vacated prior to its integration.
Elections usually occurred every four years in which citizens vote on November 4 and chose their government officials although minor elections occurred between these major dates as well.

Eligibility
There were requirements for eligibility for a person to vote which are shown below:
- Must be at least 15 or older
- Have been a citizen of the United States of JBR or its territories, protectorates, or other possessive lands for more than 7 years.
- Have not committed a serious crime in the last 10 years and have been at least 5 years done from serving a major sentence.
- Not a candidate himself or herself.
- Not a direct relative or affiliated person with a candidate.
Voting process
National campaigns with candidates, propositions, etc. usually took place 12 months before election and last until the October prior to the elections. On occasional days, there would be televised debates between candidates and party members discussing their agendas, policies, and intentions for service. All of these debates were conducted in English and translated to the other official languages of JBR. On November 4, all eligible citizens could vote at any designated place where they would vote only once and cast their vote. Their votes were then counted by the local government on November 5 and those votes were then be passed to the state government which then passed to the federal government. On November 10, the winner or winners were to be announced.

Under the current JBRican State, the government is headed by the President who holds the term for life and has the supreme authority over the entire land. However, much work are given to specialized departments and bureaus part of the National Cabinet. Several agencies works independently from the Cabinet however and usually are informal paramilitaries or franchises of Quad. The Congress and Supreme Court from the original state has survived unto the current fascist regime although have little power. All members of these flat branches are elected by the Electoral College who are several civilians elected by their own community. The People's Branch is inactive although acts as a figurative body used to forward state progression and enforce the laws locally. The National Association of Righteous Officials and the Star Guard are major bodies that also carry out the enforcement of laws.
Human rights
When Vales II took over the JBRican States, she suspended the Constitution along with its Bill of Rights. Currently, under the JBRican States, opposition or dissatisfaction of the state is thoroughly suppressed. Media, businesses, and religious organizations must receive approval by their respective referring body and political dissidents are frequently sent to labor camps or killed. As a militaristic state, the JBRican States stress heavily on state patriotism and unity so those who openly resist the law are considered dissidents. The Human Rights Index currently ranks the JBRican States as highly severe.
Political divisions
The JBRican States is divided into 20 administrative bodies (states) with each of their own capital. The national capital serves as its own state. Being a small nation, the administrative bodies are often found with their capitals near the center of the country to avoid possible invasion. Much of the land gathered were bought or annexed through purchase and war. The JBRican States possesses seven territories which are directly governed by the federal government.
Foreign relations and military
About 25 million soldiers serve the country along with an additional 8 million uniformed officers. Drafting and conscription occur both during times of peace or wartime. Men and women between 15 and 45 are required to serve the Armed Forces unless they were pardoned or given a working's permit to help the country internally.
The Supreme Field Marshal is the primary leader of the military of JBR and the military is divided into four main groups: the Army, the Navy, Air Force, and the Special Forces. Other, smaller factions include the Marines, Coast Guard, Sky Infantry, Star Guard, the Youth League, and Medic Corps. Each respective branch of the military are led by Generals that combined known as the Joint Service Officers which are led by the Supreme Field Marshal. Though the President is the commander-in-chief of the Military, it is the Supreme Field Marshal who usually coordinate and lead battles.

Economy
The economy of the United States of JBR is one of the fastest growing accomplishments in the nation so far. Much of the wealth is benefited by the various multi-estate corporations and small businesses that are found in many of the large metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The high rise in employment also boosts the labor force significantly and the JBR Imperial Bank is one of the world's largest banking complexes. The abundance of the United States of JBR's money has led its currency to be one of the fastest growing monetary units by value. The JBRican Dollar value was originally pegged to the American dollar but by the recent growth in economy, $1 in JBR is now equivalent to $10 in the former US—a 1000% increase in monetary value. Because of the growing economy, the government taxes the citizens heavily by 28% to collect large portions of the citizens. About 89% of all JBRicans live above the upper middle class by annually receiving an income of $620,400 a year. The poverty line is quickly diminishing in size as the social welfare programs that are present throughout many shelters help provide support for re-employment and basic insurance. About 91% of the JBRicans that have jobs are part of labor unions that are all funded by the government or a major organization. The cities have also seen more traffic jams because of the increase of citizens purchasing homes in suburbs and driving to work in the city. A large sum of money also is collected from the loot that the JBR Military collected from wars and foreign aid from the New Pacific Order. The President also sends $5,000,000 worth of technology to various Pacifican nations to receive $30 million. This $30 million is often spent on national and state projects such as improving the national interstate system and funding of local police departments.
Major industries of the United States of JBR include areas situated in agriculture, media, entertainment, and manufacturing. As a regional economic power, many neighbors of JBR often trade and exchange goods with each other. The economy of JBR also depends on tourism where millions of foreigners yearly visit cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and JBR City. About 821,000 working citizens work for a federal agency of JBR or enlisted in some form of quasi-governmental corporation.
JBR also conducts worldwide businesses; recently, a major corporation of JBR, the Vuong's International, opened a large ski resort in the country of Bobogoobo and other STOP nations such as the Union of Midway by March 2011. Foreign businesses began expanding their franchises and services into the United States of JBR such as the Petrov Hotel Incorporated owned by President Brandon Jr, President of the Soviet Union Kingdom.
The United States of JBR also owns the right of access to many natural resources outside its borders in neighboring areas that are unoccupied by an actual government. With the exception of Indian reservations and national parks, the government and corporate systems of the United States of JBR often have access to over 45,000 miles of land to use.
Culture
The culture of the United States of JBR is very similar to its original roots. It is primarily a Westernized society with many other cultures blended in. Many citizens take pride in keeping bonds with their traditions along with mixing others which they call "Cultashare". Cultasharing often confuses future generations to find their original customs however. A strong Mexican background can be found in the Diego Commonwealth and Mexicali where the culture of the now non-existent sovereign state of Mexico is still celebrated and well alive by its people. A large presence of Asian culture can be found in parts of Catalinan and nearly all of the Orange Republic where a significant amount of Vietnamese populations live who are descendants or actual refugees from the Vietnam War. In the city of Anaheim, though now full of diverse cultures, holds strong German background and every year, the German Heritage Festival takes place on October. Many JBRicans hold vocabulary and a similar attitude as the Californians did before the dissolution of the United States of JBR such as adding "like" to their sentence (Example: Like did you hear him? He was like whoa and ah!) and surfer slang.
Language
Along with English, several languages and dialects are officially recognized by the United States of JBR. English is spoken by 29.8 million people out of the entire 30 million. It is the most-used language with the exception of the state of Mexicali and parts of the Diego Commonwealth, where Spanish predominates. The Orange Republic and Catalinan are home to many Asian semi-official languages: Vietnamese, Hmong, Tagalog, Thai, Japanese, and at least two dialects of Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese. European languages such as Russian, German, French, and Italian have no areas with a significant majority, but are still widely supported and recognized by the United States of JBR. In the JBRican state of Rio, Portuguese is the predominant and official language.
Learning a second (or even third) language is part of the mandatory curriculum taught in the elementary and middle schools, as well as most private schools. As a result, 95% of JBRicans are effectively bilingual or multilingual.
Religion
Religion in the United States of JBR has dramatically changed over the course of JBRican history and except during the Dawkins N' Marx Period, religion has played an important role in JBR society. The United States of JBR is a secular government and allows the freedom to practice any or no religion. The largest religious organizations are the Adventists, Catholicism, Baptism, Methodism, Lutheranism, and the Pastafarianism. The Awesome Wiccan Church and New Neo-Pagan Movement are also notable religions that have grown fast since Voodooism, Buddhism, and Hinduism loss general interest. There are currently no religions or denominations identified as a "cult" by the JBR Government although several tensions with the public and the Church of Scientology has left some of its members to file complaints on religious harassment. Minor religions include Judaism, Islam, and the rest being irreligious or no religious affiliation.</s<
Education
Education often starts in the United States of JBR at the age of four years where he or she will begin receiving mandatory education from preschool to the end of high school. Students have the chose to enter college and eventually, university. Despite the recent amount of JBRican high school students dropping out, test scores are at an all-time high, a whopping 89%. There are five variations of school by level: preschool, elementary (primary), middle (junior), high, and higher education (HE/college/university). Citizens have the right to choose a public school or private school, with the latter usually being supported by a religious organization or local government. Subjects that are part of the JBRican education are: math, English, science, history, several electives, and physical education. Some schools also teach religion and other commonly-avoided subjects. The recent debate on creationism and evolutionism has left the JBR schools to teach both intelligent design, evolution, and other variations of the creation of the universe.
Media
The media in the United States of JBR has held strong hold and deeply impacted the economy of the nation. Most of the media are owned and produced by large corporations with the exception of the newspaper and magazine which depends on the government to support them. The theater and cinema are very strong in the United States of JBR; most of these films being created and recorded at Hollywood, once a major entertainment hub in the U.S. There is a high amount of television to household ratio—4:1 and the high presence of the Internet has deeply revolutionized business and means of communication. The JBRicans has a country code top-level domain, .jbr which is mostly used for government sites or websites that are strictly targeted for JBRican audiences. Printed media is often circulated weekly and shipped by the JBR Postal Service to subscribers. Media bias is commonly found in more casual or opinionated publications. The freedom of speech is deeply withheld although some forms of media such as hate speech or pornography is generally restricted to a more mature audience. These restricted forms of media are often publicized by minor corporations, in special television channels, or on websites. Blatant hate speech, excess violence depicted in movies or shows, and child pornography are considered taboo and rarely found in any source of media.
Sports
Sports have played a huge role in the United States of JBR since the foundation of the nation. The top most popular sports are basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. The Mediterranean weather allows JBRicans to play many forms of sport year-round and because of this, the seasons of each respective sport organization or "league" are often longer than usual. Swimming and surfing are also popular in the country as much of the population live within 50 miles from the ocean where these sports are usually preferred. Hockey and other winter sports are often played in special stadiums or in the colder regions of JBR such as Big Bear where it is usually snowy in the fall, winter, and early spring. It is common for children to participate and join youth organizations at early age. Special gatherings or events at games of a major sport are one of the most deeply anticipated times by JBRicans and even so, more watch it from their home every weekend.
Food
The cuisine of the United States of JBR is entirely based on the traditional American diet, especially the Californian cuisine. Because California—the predecessor of the United States of JBR—was home to many fast food chains, the hamburger is considered the national food of the country. Mexican cuisine has always been part of the JBRican cuisine although Cervantes' deliberate Taco Party has made the burrito and other non-taco Mexican dishes unpopular recently. Eastern food from cultures like China are also popular and the mix of Asian and European dishes are not uncommon in many restaurants of JBR. Obesity has constantly been a problem in JBR because of the traditional diet also consisting of processed and sugared foods. Despite this, JBR is home to many native vegetable and fruit species such as the avocado and orange which is used often in homemade dishes. Other dishes such as steak, Caesar salad, and BBQ ribs are a delicacy usually found in more upscale restaurants or prepared my members in the higher middle classes.
Developments
Transportation
Much of the highways and other sources of transportation were originally from the United States of JBR and unaffected during the war with the exception of the occasional bombings at bridges during the Inland War. All of the major highways, interstates, and other roads have 4 lanes and a "carpool lane" which eases traffic flow for vehicles with more than two passengers. Several areas such Los Angeles, faces traffic jams every morning and evening because of the large numbers of people living in suburbs and working in the city. Airports are found in nearly all major cities and the most used one, LAX, is the main source for tourists going airborne to JBR. Long Beach is the main port in which boats, cargo ships, and cruises anchor to drop off passengers or tourists to land. The railroad system is now barely used; mostly only used for transporting goods although subways and monorails are commonly found in the cities.
Science, inventions, technology, and energy
Being a young country, there are a few inventions that were made in the United States of JBR which all were related to modify existing goods such as cars, cell phones, and laptops. Technology is abundant in the United States of JBR, with the Internet available to nearly every single household, communication and business has become more easier than in the times when the Inland War took place. About $50 million worth of technology is traded to the New Pacific Order for $300 million as the country is part of the New Pacific Order Technology Corps program. The dependency on technology has required more electricity and power than in the last 10 years. Solar and wind power are secondary sources while nuclear and electricity are the most commonly used for energy. In Palm Springs, "wind farms" are found and are the main source of electricity in that area.
Health and medicine
The life expectancy of the average JBRican is 92.8--a high number compared to most developed countries in the United States of JBR. About 98% of all JBRicans are covered by a health insurance or plan provided either entirely themselves, their employers, or the government. Health care coverage is not universal, as it was in the U.S. Hospitals are often operated by corporations or the local government and usually near higher populated areas. Abortion is a controversial topic although many JBRicans identify themselves as mostly pro-life and rarely used so infant morality rates is average. Obesity is a common problem in JBR with about 900,000 diagnosed with diabetes and additional 100,000 being overweight. Vaccines are annually produced and shipped to local hospitals where they are often free of charge to use for appointments. Several universities specializes in medicine and because of this, the development of future medicines are being paved way for JBR and neighboring areas.
Measurement systems
The United States of JBR primarily uses the customary unit system which was also used in the U.S., however, the metric system is commonly used in the fields of science, business, and medicine. The customary unit is generally used for personal measurement, transportation, and often used in conversations when concerning of the measuring of things. Another form of system, Super-metric, is a form of measurement that uses 100 meters as the basic unit. Super-metric is only used when referring to larger objects such as land or towers.
