The media of the United States of JBR has a strong presence within the nation because of the former city-states of Hollywood and Los Angeles which were full of media, entertainment, and publishing. The media consists of several different types of communications: television, radio, newspapers, Internet, cinema, and magazines. Most of the media is owned by large corporations or private owners that live throughout the nation. Because of the small size, competition is at large and the media in JBR are known for their aggression with foreign rivalries. The only national-leveled media organization is the Pacific News Network and PNN International. A large portion of the media compete for the interest of its consumers and receive income for the number of consumers that watch, read, or listen to their respective media publications. Being over a former area of entertainment, the entertainment in JBR is still strong and is increasingly becoming more powerful.
Radio
The radio is very strong in the United States of JBR, mostly compromised up radio stations in the FM band which usually plays a particular genre of music such as Top 40, soft rock, metal, or country. The cinema of the United States of JBR is a regional power in the North American continent, as it is home to the former Hollywood city-state that was at its peak during its time as part of the United States of America (California). Despite the many economic breakdowns in JBR, the cinema industry has constantly risen along with supporting the economy of the entire nation itself.

Although during its time in the United States of America where the importance of the United States of JBR has declined, the newspaper is now an entirely joint subsidiary between the government and the media industry. The internet is probably the most fastest growing form of media and was the primary reason the newspaper has declined during the pre-JBRican years. Many newspapers own their own websites where archives of old publications are made ready for the viewer to read and read the current news going on. Most of the media on the internet rely on income via advertisements their customers go to while on the website they are on. Since most of the population has access in the internet, news can be passed quickly by advertisements or social networking sites which has given a relief to the JBRican internet industry.
Television
The television is the main source of media and has been very strong. Many news channel are frequently updating although are competing with the internet and under some deep pressure. For every household, there are usually 4 television sets on average and the average JBRican will watch 4 hours a day at the television. 30% of this time, that citizen will watch some form of news. Many channels in JBR try to include a program that reports on the news and generally run for an hour or thirty minutes.
