Religion in the United States of JBR is very high, mostly consisting of denominations from the religion of Christianity. The rest of the population adhere to the other two Abrahamic faiths (Judaism and Islam), Buddhism, Hinduism, and Zitacruso. Scientology and atheism is also present in the country, although those numbers only constitute about 4 percent of the entire society. Religion in JBR is not new and only had three major religious changes throughout the short history of JBR. The four largest bodies of religion are the Seventh-day Adventist Church, JBRican Catholic Church, the United Baptist Churches and the JBRican Churches of Methodists. Other prominent JBRican-specific churches are the Pastafarian Church of JBR, the Awesome Wiccan Church (AWC), the New Neo-Pagan Movement, and the JBR Presbyterian Church.
History
Religion of the United States of JBR began upon the foundation of the nation. In its inaugural month, the predominant religion in the nation was Protestant Christianity. During the Blood Wars, various Christian churches served as shelters and makeshift grocery stores to the local population it was located in. Various denominations and religions were founded in the United States of JBR as well and often found themselves competing. During the Great Change of Morality and Views,
Buddhism and Hinduism both foresaw an advancement over their Abrahamic counterparts. The Buddhism Period was marked with a large flow of Buddhist converts although most of these converts only joined because it was considered a "fad". Many monks were concerned about this and encouraged their local areas to worship faithfully and truthfully. After a while, a guru named Gajj quickly swept and wrote commentaries on Hindu teachings and beliefs. This convinced many Buddhists to convert to Hinduism but soon, Gajj's influence over the Hindus was lost to several Hindu extremists who attempted a coup d'état to the government of JBR. These extremists were later taken out by the government and put into custody. Gajj left the country, after he was unable to lead the quickly diminishing Hidnu population. The Dawkins N' Marx Period was particularly hostile to religion for most of the time and several Christians failed to evangelize the atheist nation. As the Ghostly Bar Era came, Voodooism became a popularity because of Madame Caralia's popular television show, Spirits Among Us. As Voodooism died down, Christianity returned to become the prominent religion of JBR in the Christian Revival Era.
