Bobogoobo-United States of JBR relations

Relations between Bobogoobo and the United States of JBR began in January 2011. Although they are on opposite sides of the North American continent, the two have shown interest in aspiring to better economic and social standards. The two nations began formal diplomatic relations through the Bobo-JBR Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. There are many differences between the nations, but also similarities. Both countries speak both English and Spanish (with JBRicans speaking additional languages). Bobogoobo holds a colder climate while JBR holds a warmer climate. JBR faces more criminal problems while Bobogoobo is crime-free (offenders are executed immediately). The United States of JBR is generally Christians while Bobogoobo is generally atheistic Sensists.

History

Bobogoobo existed for quite a long time before the United States of JBR became an official sovereign state after the break up of the Inland Wars. When the United States of JBR did become a country, the two showed little contact except with having basic knowledge that the two existed. President Justin Vuong knew about Bobogoobo only a little bit from what he read from the text provided by the Bobogoobo government and was interested for a short time. However, this died down as he was preoccupied with working with the New Pacific Order when the United States of JBR was entering a time of great reform and change. At the turn of the year, the United States of JBR government published a call for a better world of diplomacy other than alliances alone and Bobogoobo stepped up for it. After a brief discussion, it was decided that a treaty was to be made so the two nations could begin exchanging information with each other and support. Only after the Bobo-JBR Treaty of Amity and Cooperation did their citizens began learning more about each other. The company of Round Nexus began exporting their goods to JBR and in response, the Vuong's International Corporation began building hotels in Bobogoobo. Several people became aware of the growing relations between the two nations including Rea Shrump who is a JBRican mostly known for her assassination on Congressman Daniel Olly and hate for Francoism and the government of JBR. She was planning to overthrow JBR and even the entire New Pacific Order. Because of the news of the new grounded relations with Bobogoobo and JBR, she named Bobogoobo as a new target for "daring to make new relations with the heathen government of JBR". During trial, she openly showed a desire to bomb JBR and "her allies" which may indirectly refer to Bobogoobo itself. She also killed Olly because of Olly's helping in the signing of the Bobo-JBR Treaty (and Olly's encouragement to the President to join the New Pacific Order). In spite of this, the two countries continue to maintain a growing and healthy relationship along with building embassies in each capital.
The two countries also help found the Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact, or STOP, which currently has seven full members. The treaty of STOP is based on the treaty between Bobogoobo and JBR.
