The Patagonia national football team (Spanish: Selección de fútbol de la Patagonia) is the national association football team of Patagonia which represents the country in men's international football competitions and is administered by the Patagonia National Football League, the governing body of football in Patagonia.
The Patagonia national football team has played in association football competitions having first appeared in the FIFA World Cup in 1930 and has appeared at the games ever since. Patagonia has participated in football competitions when it was a colony of the United Kingdom and has continued after gaining independence as a Commonwealth realm. The team is affiliated with the South American Football Confederation along with all other national football teams in South America. Patagonia first played against Denmark in 1910 and against Colombia in 1930 during its first World Cup appearance. Its greatest win was in 1978 against TBD.
The Patagonia football team is regarded as one of the best football teams in South America onpar with Argentina and Brazil. It has played in games in Europe, the Americas and Asia and is also the most popular sports team in all of Patagonia.
