Pennesios was an Irian explorer of the 3rd century BCE. His travels throughout the Adséa and Mondozean were recorded in the Voyages, a wealth of information about the wider ancient world that would be read for centuries to come. Pennesios has also been credited with being the first to catalogue the wonders of the world.
