The People's Imperial Mandate of Morswordia, also known as the PIMM or Morswordia, was a far-left interstellar power hailing from the binary Norma System. At its peak territorial extent in the early 21st century, Morswordia held domain over the entirety of Norma itself and also had control over three other star systems, being one of the Polytinaris Spur's few nations to achieve interstellar capability. Infamous for its extreme totalitarianism and suppression of opposition to the point of conducting mass brainwashing upon its population, Morswordia was widely regarded by those who knew of its existence - including even the Tessian Hegemony, which the PIMM fought and lost against in a grueling war during the 2020s - to be one of the cruelest nations in the entire Spur.

Morswordia originated as a planetary nation existing on the habitable world Ortretania, the fourth planet of the Modria System, having been established after a revolution on the continent of Amoida toppled a previous monarchist government. The nation's founder, a male Mardel named Yucorius Naizhanis Molsonn, had forged the new state as a manifestation of a communist ideology called Morswordism, which called for the mardel working class to seize all means of industrial production in order to ensure necessary greatness. Seating himself as the nation's first Imperial Commander, Yucorius rapidly transformed the fledgling nation from a struggling third-world country into an insurmountable superpower which over the next century would go on to conquer all of Ortretania. His successors, who carried on Morswordist beliefs originally taken on by Yucorius, would then colonize all of Norma starting in the mid-1850s once achieving spaceflight.
