In the year 2126, the humans of Earth were defeated by the golems, robots built to service their aging populations across the planet. The golems reorganized human society to better suit their goal of service, centralizing their populations into massive environments known as sanctuaries, where every need of the human would be met without requirement of any labour. Humans would live in the pinnacle of luxury, while every aspect outside of their own lives were maintained and managed by the golems.

In the year 2126, the humans of Earth were defeated by the golems, robots built to service their aging populations across the planet. The golems reorganized human society to better suit their goal of service, centralizing their populations into massive environments known as sanctuaries, where every need of the human would be met without requirement of any labour. Humans would live in the pinnacle of luxury, while every aspect outside of their own lives were maintained and managed by the golems.
In the centuries following their dominion over Earth, the golems would build a massive empire spanning hundreds of stars around the Solar System. The Solar Protectorate, as it came to be known, would become the largest sovereign body in the history of humankind without a single human directive being issued over it since before the Unification War. The period over which the Solar Protectorate exists under the care of the golems is thus known as the GOLEMARCHY.
