Progressus (Latin for "Progress"; party identifier P), is a big-tent social liberal political party in Liberta. As of 2024 it is the largest party in Liberta by Senate seats held, and the second largest by membership figures. Founded in 1879 as a merger between the Progressive Party and the Anglican Party, it is the oldest current iteration of a party in Liberta. The origins of the party can be traced back to several progressive predecessors, and in turn, loose alliances between senators in the Ancient period. The current party leader is Vice-Consul Julia Moore, who per tradition took office following the 2022 presidential election win of former party leader Kenneth Hoyer.
Progressus, along with Democratia Nova and the Conservative Coalition, is considered to be part of the "Big Three", the three major parties in national politics. Its main adversary is the Conservative Coalition, though the two have on several occasions formed governments. Members and supporters of the party are generally referred to by the nickname Prog or Progs (plural).
