The Provisional Government of Bajaría was a provisional government for Bajaría, established on March 6, 2021 to succeed the responsibilities and duties of the Commission on Devolution in El Norte, and to transition the government in Bajaría towards a fully operational one. It was statutorily established by the Organic Act of 2021, an Act of Parliament, and will be dissolved upon the conclusion of Bajaría's first elections sometime in spring 2021. It is based in Salsipuedes and its current nominal head is Ernesto Reyes, who serves as the chairman of the provisional government. The provisional government is headed by a fifteen-member government body known as the Provisional Council, which consists of representatives from each of the states of Bajaría, as well as federal ministers appointed by the Crown. The provisional government is responsible for enforcing the Constitution of Bajaría, which was drafted and finalized prior to Bajaría's ascendancy by the Commission on Devolution in El Norte.
Following the 2021 Sierran federal election and the subsequent Senate by-elections, the state elected its first delegation to the Parliament of Sierra and the parliamentary elections also occured leading to the creation of a formal government and the end of the provisional government.
