The 2021 Sierran Senate by-elections were held on Friday, May 28, 2021. All of the 30 new seats established by the Reapportionment Act of 2021 were contested, including both the regular and commissioned seats. 6 additional leveraged senators were concurrently seated, based on the results of the 2021 House elections. The by-elections were held during an off-year due to the ascension of 8 new PSAs (the Bajarian states of Cancún, Mérida, Pacífico Norte, Pacífico Sur, and South Sonora, the Deseretian areas of New Oneida and Sweetwater, and the Sierran province of the Channel Islands). While regular senators are normally elected on six-year terms, the regular senators will serve a modified three-year term and will face reelection in 2024 as part of the Class III electoral cycle.
