The Revolutionary Committee of the American Federalists (RCAF), known commonly, especially when referenced historically, as the Left Federalists or the Revolutionary Federalists, is one of the seven legally recognized minor political parties in the Continental States under the direction of the Continentalist Party of the United Commonwealth (CPUC). The party was founded in 1928 during the early years of the Continental States by former members of the deposed Federalist Party who were affiliated with the Federalist Party's progressive wing that opposed the party's authoritarian and nepotistic rule during the late 19th and early 20th centuries and supported progressive labor reforms due to sympathies with the working class, Federalist officials who were opposed to the dictatorship of Amelia Abarough, and defectors from the Antilles.
The party adheres to the principles of Landonism and Continentalism, like all other Registered Sections, while also adhering towards socialist patriotism and the Federalist Principles which are interporated among a socialist and left-wing nationalist lense. The Revolutionary Federalists were originally an informal shadow government to encourage defection from the Antilles and to undermine Abarough's regime before entering into national politics in the 1950s.
Presently, the party holds nine seats in the National People's Congress and TBD in the Standing Committee. The party is seen as second in status compared to the Continentalist Party along with all other sanctioned parties in the National Front. Despite its small status, the RCAF have been an important force in the National Front's strategy in the Antilles by supporting various anti-government and anti-Federalist organizations and affiliated groups in order to subvert the current government and promote Continental interests in the region, mainly the goal of American unification.
