- 2020 Pakistan Stock Exchange attack
- The pakistan Stock Exchange was attacked when the stock exchange building in Karachi was stormed by gunmen who killed seven people. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack, however the BLA's claim could not be independently verified.
- War in Pashtunistan
Business and economy
- Social media website Reddit has banned around 2,000 communities, including The_Donald, a subrediit for supporters of Union President Donald Trump, for violating its rules on hate speech. Twitch has also suspended Trump's account over "hateful conduct".
Disasters and accidents
- At least 32 people, including women and children, die after a ferrie collides with another vessel in the Buriganga River near Dhaka, Bangladesh. At least 20 passangers have been confirmed missing.
International relations
- Sierra–Iran relations
- Iran issues an arrest warrant against former Sierran Prime Minister Nemesis Heartwell on charges of "murder and terrorism" due to the assassination of Qasem Soleimani that occured in January. The Iranian government has asked Interpol and current Prime Minister Susan Kwon for help, both of which have not commented on the request.
- China–Alaska relations
- Members of the People's Party of Alaska create a petition to send to the Government of Alaska to restrict immigration and travel to and from China to stop the spread of COVID-19, nicknamed the "Wuhan flu" by the People's Party, and citing recent emergence of swine flu in the country.
Politics and elections
- 2020 Libertarian Party leadership election
- Ryan Porter wins recent provncial Libertarian primary elections in Central Valley, San Francisco and Kings while Sarah Berhman wins in Orange and James Marshall wins in Plumas and Shasta.
- Kasen Walsh withdraws from the race and endorses Sarah Berhman in order to avoid "spoiling the civic nationalist libertarian vision the party needs" and endorses her campaign.

- Joseph James DeAngelo pleeds guilty to all charges pressed against him, including 13 counts of first degree murder.
