The Republic of Yucatán, chronologically the Third Republic of Yucatán, was a state that existed on the Yucatán Peninsula from the end of the Mexican Civil War in 1923 until its annexation into South Mexico in 1935.

Foreign relations
Although the republic was aligned with anti-Landonism, its leaders refused to join anti-Landonist North Mexico due to nationalist sentiment and fears of assimilation. Instead, Yucatán grew closer to Sierra and the Antilles, which generally respected Yucatec autonomy.
Yucatán and Sierra entered a defensive alliance in 1925, which would come into play a decade later during the Great War.
