Federal University is a RTS Koiwai station on the Yellow Line in Koiwai, Ivalician Federal District. Due to its close proximity to the downtown Koiwai jobs center and Federal University Koiwai, it is the fourth-busiest RTS Koiwai station. It opened as a part of the original Phase I of the RTS system on November 29, 2000, and is operated by the Koiwai Department of Transportation.
The station is located under the western intersection of Dalmasca Street and Faren Circle, with two entrances, one at Dalmasca and Davidson and the other on the University's campus, between the Administration building and the Student Union.
History
Federal University station opened on November 29, 2000, as a part of the initial opening of the RTS Koiwai system, on the completed Yellow Line from Dalmasca station to Reginrauve International Airport station. The Blue Line initially served this station in addition to the Yellow Line until the planned Blue Line reroute to Ivalice Boulevard in 2004.
