Alexandra Maria Goetz (born November 19th, 1968) is a former Superian four-star general who served as the 13th Secretary of Defense of the Kingdom of Superior from 2015 until 2022. Goetz previously served as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Superian Army and a former national security advisor to President Alexander Harper. As the Secretary of Defense, Goetz is the only member of the Cabinet of Superior that is not apart of the House of Delegates.
Born in Augustus, Dakota, Goetz would be raised in a military family and would enlist in the Superian Army after attending the New Hanover Military Academy. In 2000, Goetz would be promoted to the rank of brigadier general and would serve in the 2004 invasion of Syria and later the Syrian Civil War, achieving the rank of a four star general in 2012. Goetz would briefly serve as Deputy Chief of the General Staff before retiring from over thirty years of service in 2012. In 2013, Goetz would become the national security advisor to President Alexander Harper, serving until 2015. In October of 2015, Goetz would be nominated by newly-elected President Jennifer Granholm to the position of Secretary of Defense, being confirmed unanimously by the High Council on October 19th, being the only nominated cabinet official to receive such support.
