Elise Malenkova[a] (born 19 May 2279) is a Yekaterian politician and former leader currently serving as the Senator from Yekateria. Prior to her appointment to the seat, she served as the Federal President of the Yekaterian Federation three times, from 2295-2297,2300-2310, and June-July 2319, being re-elected in 2305. She has also served as premier for one day, on 11 July 2395, in the midst of a leadership transition.
Born as the 12th child through surrogacy to Natalia Malenkova and Andrea Janssen, and the older of two twins, Malenkova began in politics as an intern in the Soviet of the Nationalities (now the Federal Senate) before ultimately being appointed as Chief Secretary of the Presidential Office at age 15, under the administration of her mother, President Natalia Malenkova.
After a few months as Chief Secretary, Malenkova rose to the presidency after the sudden resignation of President Natalia, serving in acting capacity until September 2295, in which she was confirmed as Natalia's successor by the Supreme Soviet[b].
As president, Malenkova reformed the government through various structural reforms, as well as laid the groundwork for the modern Federal Council through the various Elisean Cabinets. She also holds the record for the greatest number of vice presidents serving under her, at six. Malenkova is also Yekateria's youngest president, having ascended to the presidency at the age of 16 years and 1 month.
