Natalia Malenkova[a] (born 3 July 2189) is a Yekaterian politician and notable former leader. A member of the People's Party, she served as the party's leader between the party's founding in 2368 and her stepping down in 2376. A charismatic and independent politician, she served as the founding leader of the Federalist Party between 2346 and 2356, and as the leader of the Solidarity Party between 2280 to 2295, as well as 2206 to 2250. She currently serves as the Senator from Yekateria, having previously served as the 34th and 37th Federal Chancellor in 2356 and 2370 respectively, as well as the 18th and 25th Premier between 2206 to 2215 and 2280 to 2295, and as the 17th and 22nd President between 2206 to 2250 and 2290 to 2295.
Born to next leader-in-line Aleksandr Malenkov and Maria Malenkova, Malenkova is the eldest of four children, with her siblings being Viktoria Malenkova, Lyudmila Malenkova, and Oleg Malenkov. Whilst initially not seen as a future successor to the Yekaterian leadership, Malenkova secured the party leadership in 2206 following her father's death following her political alliance with old communist reformists from the Erikist era
As the country's leader between 2206 to 2250, Malenkova developed the country's largest ever infrastructure project, the MEGRAPRO, as well as brought the country's first ever serious international participation in the form of the UAN as its leader and founding member. She was also known for her aggressive foreign policy, especially against the capitalist International Military Capitalist Alliance, the alliance opposing the UAN.
Malenkova has generally been seen by Yekaterians as the nation's best leader – however, she is seen much less favourable to non-Yekaterians due to her aggressive foreign policy involving forced regime changes and nuclear detonations in foreign countries.
