Meditea is a historical region of arid steppe in eastern Hammerfell and western Cyrodiil, once inhabited by the Mediteans. They possessed a great empire in the Merethic Era, but few records survive of their hegemony. The capital of Meditea was at Manzadour, and its borders at one time reached as far east as Miscarcand.
Etymology
The name Meditea comes from ancient proto-Nedic roots meaning "middle-land". It may also be the origin of the Mede family's name.
