The 2022 North American terror attacks, also known collectively as the Week of Terror, was a series of terrorist attacks that occurred across Anglo-America, primarily in member states of the Conference of American States, between February 9 and 16. The attacks were primarily carried out by Congigenters and the Provisional Sierran Republican Army across the nations of Sierra, Superior, and Astoria. The attacks began on February 9 with a series of bombings across Porciúncula by the Provisional SRA while the House of Commons was in session and was then followed up by terorist attacks in Superior by Contigenters in the states of New Anjou and Minnesota.
A day later on February 10, the American Parliament Building was attacked by Contingenter terrorists during a meeting of the American Parliament after a series of bombings across the city to distract law enforcement and security. The attacks were carried out by ten attackers with six of them being killed and the surviving four, including the lead attacker, being arrested by law enforcement. Within the span of 24 hours, 213 people were left dead and over 562 people were injured. During the first attack, seven members of the Parliament of Sierra were killed including Defense Minister Felix Sypher, as one of the bombs detonated in the Parliament Building. Porcy Metro was attacked as well.
On February 12, Randolf MacDonald entered into Central United Methodist Church in Bernheim, San Joaquin where he took 14 congregation members hostage during afternoon worship at 1:43 pm. MacDonald himself was affiliated with the Provisional SRA and took the church hostage as an act of revenge against Prime Minister Susan Kwon for her "betrayal" of the republican movement. The standoff lasted four hours and ended at 5:10 when police stormed the church and arrested MacDonald during an escape attempt out back.
On February 14 during Valentine's Day, Task Force Orion of the Alaskan Navy searched a cargo ship originating from North Vietnam which was discovered to be secretly carrying weapons and military equipment during a trip to Sierra before heading to the United Commonwealth for its final destination. The crew were arrested and the ship taken into Alaskan military custody. In what would be known as the "Valentine Plot", the crew were revealed to be arms smugglers sneaking in illegal weapons and military equipment purchased on the black market into Sierra and undisclosed clients in the United Commonwealth to. The ship itself was searched due to its travel destination being the Caribbean with all such ships being searched as part of the Caribbean Security Act passed by the Alaskan Parliament in January. The final attack was a shooting in Ukiah, Plumas, on February 16 by Michael Waller of the White Rose Battalions against Democratic-Republican officials.
The attacks in total have left 208 people dead and 570 injured in total. The attacks have since been described as a "week of terror" and is the one of the deadliest periods in recent Anglo-American history. Two capitals, Porciúncula and Saint Anthony, were attacked forcing the parliaments in both nations into suspending their sessions for at least a week and have resulted in issues of domestic terrorism forefront of political discourse and concerns of both terrorism and civil liberties being wildly discussed once again. In Sierra, the attacks brought up the Styxie conflict and fears of dissident republicanism have arisen once again.
Numerous conspiracy theories have also emerged as a result of the attacks with many allegign covert Continental support to the Provisional SRA and other attacks as well. Due to the attacks occurring admist the backdrop of the 2021–22 Caribbean diplomatic crisis between the CAS and United Commonwealth along with their respective allies, conspiracies have emerged and gained traction online and in the media as a result.
