The Kingdom of Erasidon, known simply as Erasidon, also Erasidonia, was a kingdom of Ancient Mesallas formed in the Classical Period, and later would become the dominate state of Mesallas during the Mesallenistic Period. The kingdom is believed to have been founded by the hero Erasander, around the year 200 in the aftermath of Yanno-Mesallian Wars, after Erasander was said to have been blown off course while traveling home. It is likely that the area was inhabited for centuries prior to this, but Erasidonian kings would traditionally cite Erasander as the formal beginning of a kingdom by that name.

Before the fourth century the kingdom was largely regarded as weak and on the periphery of the Mesallian world, often being dominated by neighboring nations or external factions. Toward the end of the Agiran Hegemony the kingdom would come to be ruled by Ptelamus II, who successfully replaced Agira as the dominant force in Mesallas, and successfully defended against the invasion of Thalut II of Azoz. The kingdom's dominance came in large part from its military reforms, which saw the development of a superior army to the rest of the ancient world.

Ptelamus II's son Ioxemander would go on to form one of the largest empires in ancient history, successfully dominating Mesallas, conquering Azoz, and numerous other kingdoms, creating an empire that spanned "from coast to coast". Ioxemander's untimely death at the age of 32 left his empire without a clear heir, and soon it fractured among his generals and descendants. Erasidon proper was initially ruled by Ioxemander's regent, Evandus, but would formally split from the Azozian-dominated empire during the reign of Evandus' son Lysimedes, who transitioned Erasidon back to an independent kingdom.
