The High Command in the East was a strategic command of the Sierran Crown Armed Forces created during Great War I in June 1932 to command all Sierran forces "east of the Rockies." This primarily covered operations in Brazoria and Superior. It was directly subordinated to the Joint Chiefs of the Defense Staff and its area extended as far as central Brazoria at the start of the war, and was reduced to the passes of the Rocky Mountains by 1934. Home Command was its counterpart, having command of all units within the Kingdom of Sierra (west of the Rockies).
History
On June 24, 1932, Directive No. 268 of the Sierran Joint Chiefs of the Defense Staff established the High Command in the East to command all units deployed in Brazoria and Superior, which were organized as Army Group B and Army Group C, respectively. The High Commander answered directly to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and held the rank of field marshal. By September 1932, the forces in the East numbered 310,000 troops in 20 divisions.
