The 2016 presidential election of Rio Blanco took place on 1 August 2016, to elect the president of Rio Blanco. If a candidate gained 51% (or more) of the votes, he/she would be elected President.
In this election, 79% of the population (6,150,352 inhabitants) voted.
Incumbent President Bill Stanmourne was re-elected for another four years and the Progressive-Green-RB 2.0 coalition was confirmed, while the Liberals and the Dead Center Party left the opposition (Conservatives-Rio Blanco First), forming a "mixed group" which is neither included in the Majority nor in the Opposition.
