Shaley Farms is a RTS Koiwai station in Koiwai on the Orange Line. Service began on April 19, 2010.

History

Shaley Farms station is located at the center of what was a large block of farmland owned by the wealthy Shaley family in the early 20th century. In 1942, the property was sold to the government in order to allow the government to construct housing to cope with the influx of domestic immigrants to support Ivalice's efforts in World War II. The entire tract of land was planned, with Grove Street being a wide boulevard lined with retail and entertainment venues. Near the center of the tract was a major bus facility near Grove Street's intersection with the Capital & Gallia railroad's Southern line. The bus facility was relocated in 2002 to make way for the elevated Shaley Farms station, which construction for began in 2003.

Layout and Location

Shaley Farms is located in the Shaley Farms planned community in southwest Koiwai. There are two tracks serving Shaley Farms. Track H1 is southbound towards Landover. Track H2 is northbound towards Winter Park.
