Slaughterfish comprise various species of carnivorous fish found in the waters of Nirn.
Varieties
- Northern slaughterfish: Found in Skyrim and the Sea of Ghosts; long snout and vaguely icthyosaurid shape
- Cyrodilic slaughterfish: The Niben River is infested with these creatures, making it unsafe to swim in.
- Maneventian slaughterfish: Especially prevalent in the Inner Sea of Morrowind
- Iliac slaughterfish: Named after their domain, the Iliac Bay of High Rock and Hammerfell
