Tiber Septim (Cyrodilic: Tiberius Septimus; born Hjalti; c. 2E 828 – 3E 38), also known as Talos Stormcrown, was a general, statesman, and ruler who became one of the most influential figures in Tamrielic history. Initially winning fame on the battlefield in service to the Colovian warlord Cuhlecain, in 2E 854 he seized the throne of Cyrodiil, and embarked on a series of conquests known as the Tiber Wars. These campaigns achieved the conquest of all Tamriel by 2E 896, ending the centuries-long Interregnum and unifying the entire continent for the first time in history. The ensuing Third Era would see 400 years of relative unity, presided over by Tiber's heirs, the Septim dynasty.
In the centuries following his reign, Tiber became revered as a god and saint, and is worshipped as one of the Nine Divines under the name of Talos.
