Waterfront is an island platformed RTS Koiwai station in Riverside Park in Koiwai, Ivalice, serving the park and the Waterfront neighborhood of the city. The station was opened on April 19, 2010, and is operated by the Koiwai Department of Transportation (KDOT). Providing service for only the Orange Line, the station is located at Riverside Drive and Nelson Square.
It is the final station southbound on the Orange Line in Koiwai, before the line crosses the Ulei River in a tunnel to Prince George's County, Federal District. A commuter bus terminal was planned to be included in the surface connections to the station, due to the availability of bus only-lanes on Riverside Drive, but were eventually scrapped in favor of expanding the Altamont Highway Transit Center located at the site of Calverton station.
