The city-state also boasts a granary (which enables the sustenance of the large population) and a prominent temple to the Afnear gods.

The first of these epochs was the Afnearsz Age (A.A.), which lasted 10,000 years, according to the Syneric (the basic epic or religious scripture in Afnear mythology).  The second age was the Entonsz Age (E.A.), which had a duration of 5000 years and saw the advent of mankind. Culture

Religion

Afnear mythology is a central part of Weritsza life and culture. The pantheon, which has been formalized in multiple myths and epics. The primary religious epic is the Syneric, which tells of the formation of the planet and presents the pantheon of deities.

There are three principal deities that are worshipped by the average Weritsza family. First, is the king of the gods and head of the pantheon, Dietro. Second is the patron god of the nation and of the royal family, Poro (who is notable as the creator and sustainer of mankind). Finally, each each family in Weritsz has a patron deity who is mostly determined based on how the patriarch earns his income.

Language

The language of Weritsz, known as Werita, is attributed as a gift of the god Poro, the creator of mankind. The language has a complex system of noun- and verb-roots, which are then modified by prefixes and/or suffixes to construct the intended meaning.
