Almeda (Libertan English: /ælmiːdʌ/, al-MEE-duh; Latin: [aːɫmɛda]), officially the Vicinity of Almeda is a neighborhood situated in northern Oriens in Liberta. It is surrounded by three Oriensan neighborhoods to the west, Alba, Vesperum, and Claudia, and borders two Orian neighborhoods, Mellton and Hyde. Almeda is the fourth neighborhood in Oriens and is represented by the twelfth seat in the Senate.
The name Almeda is likely derived from alma, Latin for the game halma, likely referencing the ancient gambling industry of the neighborhood. Today Almeda is one the smallest neighborhoods in Oriens, conversely housing one of the larger populations of the borough.
