List of diplomatic missions of the Holy See
This is a list of diplomatic missions of the Holy See. Since 1934 and after the Roman Catholic Church formed the Holy See located in Vatican City, the Holy See has maintained diplomatic relations with nations of the international community and has formal bilateral relations with TBD sovereign countries and maintains formal papal representatives at TBD countries worldwide. These relations were established after the Second Western Schism and were largely influenced by the politics of both the Interwar period and the Cold War with said political situations still impacting the Holy See's relations in the modern era. The Holy See also maintains connections with numerous intergovernmental organizations such as the League of Nations, the Conference of American States and the European Community.
