Garrett Meade (born July 8th, 1960) is a Sierran politician and former soldier. He currently serves as a member of the House of Commons representing the Inland Empire constituency of Etiwanda, which includes Rancho Cucamonga and parts of Fontana and San Antonio, since 2021. A member of the Christian Democratic Party, Meade is apart of the party's right wing and is considered the most conservative member of the party's parliamentary delegation, a contrast to the largely moderate and liberal conservative nature of the Christian Democrats.
Born and raised in Porciúncula, Gold Coast, Meade would not attend a higher education university, instead enlisting in the Sierran Royal Army. Despite joining in 1981, Meade would not be actively deployed until 2004 during the invasion of Syria and would briefly serve in the civil war that would follow, retiring from active service in 2007 as a Sergeant. Meade would enter politics the following year in 2008, being elected to the Inland Empire Provincial Assembly as a member of the Royalist Party. As a member of the provincial assembly, Meade was considered one of the most conservative politicians in the chamber, supporting a number of right wing legislation and would be an opponent of multi-partisan co-operation, claiming that the party shouldn't "sell out" to other parties. After a few terms in office, Meade would no run for re-election in 2020. Following the Royalist defeat in the 2020 federal election and the election of Kenneth O'Conner as party leader, Meade would join the Christian Democratic Party, claiming that the Royalists had "sold it soul to the establishment" and had abandoned former Prime Minister Nemesis Heartwell, of whom which Meade was a supporter of. Meade's defection to the party was seen as pellicular, as the Christian Democrats were more liberal than the Royalists.
In the 2021 federal election, Meade would run for a seat in the House of Commons, hoping to replace incumbent Royalist Preston Barton of the influential Barton family. In an upset election, Meade would narrowly defeat Barton in the heavily-Royalist district and would be sworn in on May 28th, 2021. On June 1st, Meade would become the founder and chairman of the National Christian Conference, which is made up of right wing and socially conservative Christian Democrats, who were largely previously apart of the Royalist Party. Meade has also emerged as a leading opponent of popular Christian Democratic leader Maximilien Lavallée, criticizing him for his liberal leanings and his direction of the party.
Politically, Meade identifies as a social conservative and a economic liberalism, and championed himself as a Sierran patriot. Meade is a strong opponent of abortion and supported strict abortion restrictions during his tenure in the Inland Empire Provincial Assembly. He is also an opponent of gay marriage and has supported a ban on it. Meade is against the nationalization of private industries, being a chief critic of the National Health Protection Act of 2020 and is supportive of loosen government regulations. He is also opposed to raising any form of government tax, and has suggested abolishing federal income taxes on a multitude of occasions. On foreign policy, Meade is an opponent of the normalization of relations with the United Commonwealth and United People's Committees, but does support reconciliation with Mexico. He is a staunch critic of the Conference of American States and is a leading figure of Ameroskepticism in the largely pro-CAS Christian Democratic Party.

Garrett Meade announced his candidacy for the House of Commons on March 8 following the passing of the Early Parliamentary Federal Election Act of 2021 which paved the way for the 2021 Sierran federal election. Meade himself would run for the Christian Democratic nomination campaigning on being a "ardent and truely dedicated" Christian conservative and running against what he percieved as "parliamentary nepotism" citing how the Barton family's influence was impacting politics on a federal level. He also ran on being a "true and honest Heartwellian populist" and went after Barton's more moderated political stance since his ascension to the position of Chair of the House Royalist Conference and party leadership.
