The Joint Service Officers was created on October 30, nearly two weeks since the foundation of the United States of JBR. It was intended to be created as the collective administrative body of all of the commanders of the Armed Forces. The Joint Service Officers first began as a body responsible for advising the President and to ensure the personnel readiness, policy, planning and training of their respective military services for the combatant commanders to utilize. At that time, the commanders were merely figureheads when the real power lied onto civilian workers. However, its powers were extended to the commanders and the entire body were given the power for conducting military operations under the Supreme Field Marshal and ultimately, the President and his officers.
Responsibilities and roles
The primary responsibility of the Joint Service Officers is to coordinate military operations between the branches of the JBRican Armed Forces. The Joint Service Officers also assume responsibility to carry out orders from the President or one of his officers and to command the entire military in operations. The Joint Service Officers closely work with the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States of JBR and the Department of Homeland Security, Citizenship, and Naturalization as well. Officers are required to provide military intelligence reports to the High Executive Committee and statistics. The officers are given the power to change the military code of conduct, change the structure, decorate personnel who meet the award's requirement, and other military-related administration. Only the non-civilian officers have external powers such as being able to vote in the Congress.
