The Supreme Field Marshal is appointed by the President although must be approved by the Congress and the People's Branch. The Marshal's salary is determined by the King. The salary may rise or fall depending on the Marshal's efforts, merits, and achievements. The default salary is $5 million per month provided by the Congress.
Duties
The Supreme Field Marshal mainly works as the chief commander of the military of the United States of JBR. The Supreme Field Marshal can direct battles, award officers, promote or demote officers, issue military reports, purchase military-related products and equipment, deploy soldiers, coordinate attacks, and advise the President. Although the Supreme Field Marshal cannot declare war or peace, he/she is expected to lead the war—usually without the need of the President or King's supervision. However, the Supreme Field Marshal is still expected to follow the President's agenda along with following the orders of the Congress. The Supreme Field Marshal cannot appoint his own Field Marshals or Generals. The Supreme Field Marshal can be impeached like any other government official by the House of Representatives and be held by the Senate (the Supreme Court decides the sentence).
The Supreme Field Marshal can also vote in any of the three houses in the Congress. His/her vote is equivalent to 10 regular legislators. The Marshal can also propose a treaty, ratify an existing treaty, call for a state of the union meeting to the Congress, and appoint military officers (below the rank of General). The Supreme Field Marshal is also given the power to be part of the Grand Jury in the Supreme Court as well although his/her vote count is equal to 1.
