Damage Inc. (short for "Incorporation") was a Sierran thrash metal band formed in Porciúncula in 1979. Its original lineup consisted of guitarist/vocalist Max Leftfield, guitarist Daniel Mustang, bassist Griffin Beckett, and drummer Gary Alaric; in 1983 Beckett would leave to form his band, with Kevin Eldridge replacing him on bass shortly afterward. At the height of their fame in the 1980s, the band had popularized the Sierran thrash metal scene with songs such as "Whiplash" and "Four Mechanix", and are seen alongside Sureiyaa, Quikkill, and Lockjaw as one of the "big four" in Anglo-American thrash metal.

NOTICE: Do not report vandalism or other misconduct anywhere other than the reports channel in the official Fictonia discord server. You still can, but it may lead to later response times.
In 1980, the band released its first album Damage Your Ass on the independent record label Vanquish Records, to minor commercial success but received critical acclaim, with the band landing their first venue gigs during this time. Due to their hectic performances and the album's notoriety spreading by word of mouth, the band had caught the attention of bigger labels, which led to Damage Inc signing with Avocado Records. The band's untitled second studio album, commonly known as Damage Inc., would be released in 1982 to moderate success, debuting at number 39 on the Sunset 100 chart. According to the Porciúncula Times, the album confirmed the band's status as the leading heavy metal band of the modern era, and for redefining the norms of thrash metal. Damage Inc. would be the last to feature bassist Griffin Beckett, who would leave the band after their 1983 Hail To The Victors tour to form his own band, later known as Lockjaw. He would be replaced by Kevin Eldridge.

P treble clef.svg Rock Saga Evolution | Featured video game
23 October 2015 release cover featuring Billy Brixton of the Nympho Guns smashing his guitar

Author: Solace
Project: Altverse II
Developer: Fireborn Games
Genres: Music, rhythm
Publisher: Abyss Entertainment
Summary: Rock Saga Evolution is a music rhythm video game developed by Fireborn Games and published by Abyss Entertainment. It is the sixth core installment in the Rock Saga series, the third to be developed by Fireborn following Rock Saga Greatest Hits, and the first core title following the dissolvement of SummerDream Games in June 2014. The game was launched in North America on 23 October 2015 for the VERS 360 and 720, InfiniTech 2 and InfiniTech 3, and Nintendo Revolution consoles. A month later, on 20 November, the game would be shipped worldwide, as well as being released on Direct Edge X and tOS. The game would eventually be ported to the Sega Krypton on 15 April 2016. Much like the predecessor titles of the franchise, Evolution is designed to offer a four-person band experience, encompassing lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. The game can be purchasable as a standalone title, enabling players to utilize their current compatible instrument controllers, or as a bundled package that includes these controllers.

Evolution shares common gameplay elements with preceding core games of the series, but introduced a new story mode that chronicles the "evolution of hard rock from the 1960s until present". Much like Rock Saga 5: Gods of Rock, the game incorporates drop-in/drop-out play, bands composed of any combination of available instruments, and both song-specific goals and general challenges to unlock new characters, guitars, and other extras in the game. Various historical music venues were also introduced, such as Euphonia Music Festival and The Alamo, as well as more recent music venues like SunFest in Columbia City. The game also incorporates the Giza pyramid complex—referred to as the Necropolis of Memphis—and the Colosseum of Rome, which serve as the final two venues in the game. The song "Seven Headed Whore" by Scorched Earth was also performed for inclusion in the game.

Much like other Rock Saga titles developed by Fireborn—Greatest Hits and UnpluggedEvolution re-uses songs previously featured in other titles of the series, however it is the first core title game to re-feature tracks previous used in preceding titles. Evolution 's track list contains 111 songs by 101 separate artists or groups dated between 1964 and 2015—the most of any Rock Saga core title, surpassing Rock Saga: Across the Globe 's track listing of 98 songs—which are playable across 17 different venues, the most of any game. Much like previous Rock Saga games, several musicians with songs in the game have been modeled through motion capture for playable characters in the game, including Ozzy Osburn and Doug Carpenter of Planetaria, Klaartje Den Boer, Hailee Wilhelm of Harmonova, Joe Petruzzi, Daniel Mustang of Damage Inc. and Speed Demons, Thom Choltz of The Red Patriots, Dene Gibbons of Bliss, and Derron Podanian of Method to the Madness. About the Wiki

Logo of the Constructed Worlds Wiki.svg

Originally founded on Wikia, the Constructed Worlds Wiki, affectionately known as Conworlds, is a place to host and share constructed worlds, alternate history, and other creative endeavours. Projects of any nature are welcome here, and creativity is encouraged!

On Mainspace articles we suggest that writers follow our Manual of Style. The majority of content on the Mainspace is written in an encyclopedic format like on Wikipedia. For all other kinds of pages, there are a number of namespaces anyone can use. Editors can opt in their pages to our content assessment system, vote to feature articles at the village pump, and even earn awards and decorations for their writing.

It is important to fully review and understand our policies and guidelines before editing on our Wiki. The Admins generally prefer to let people self-regulate, but it is for the sake of keeping Conworlds an inclusive and safe community that we insure compliance with these policies. Particularly of import are the protocols around copyrights.

Aside from our policies, it is also important that users understand the Four Cs: civility, collaboration, consensus, and cooperation.

Civility: Editors should treat each other with courtesy, good faith, and respect.
Collaboration: Editors should make an effort to work together on shared projects.
Consensus: Editors should participate in decision-making and seek arrangements which are suitable to all.
Cooperation: Editors should never wantonly antagonize or hinder others.

Finally, new editors or users should understand what Conworlds is not. This website is for free content: by editing the Constructed Worlds Wiki, you agree to license any text you add under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License 4.0 (Unported). If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to leave a message on any of the Admins' talk pages or join our community Discord chat.

Consequently, it may feature articles which may or may not properly attribute its Wikipedia sourced material. Material which has been copied, transposed, imported, or derived from Wikipedia (and elsewhere) which fail to have proper attribution may be in violation of Wikipedia's or other similar sites' copyrights. The Constructed Worlds Wiki administration takes this very seriously, as non-compliance or negligence may have legal ramifications. To that end, the ACCTF was created on 3 March 2023 to meet the demands and standards of proper attribution and copyright compliance with respect to Canadian copyright law. If you are interested in assisting the wiki with this important responsibility, please join the ACCTF today!

Patron Article of the Month – Damage Inc. by Solace, selected by Robballgamer2009
