The Secretariat of the 14th Congress of the Continentalist Party of the United Commonwealth was in session from 28 July 1928 to 20 April 1932. Elected by the 14th Central Committee, its members served as the highest policy-making authority within the Continentalist Party. The Secretariat was chaired by the General Secretary Seamus Callahan. At its height it included nine members, before the resignation of Diana Verdone in 1930.
The 14th Secretariat was in office during the height of Callahan's consolidation of power and oversaw the implementation of the country's first Five-year plan, which included focuses on the expansion and mechanization of agriculture, rapid industrialization and rebuilding after the Continental Revolutionary War, urbanization, and electrification. This period also saw the Southern Insurrection, which was used as a pretext by Callahan to consolidate power around himself. The 14th Secretariat was smaller in size than previous iterations, largely being staffed by Callahan allies.
